We are eating good tonight up here in canada; I budgeted enough to be able to afford homemade soup! My parents let me take home some pizza crusts from their birthday party last weekend (they dont like them) so I could eat it with my soup.

I used homemade stock (keep your bones!), and added carrots, mushrooms, onions, cabbage, garlic, a little bit of pork chop (meat is pricy) and some black beans and chickpeas for extra protein. I seasoned it with some rosemary, thyme and basil I had, and I qdded a bay leaf.

The leftover pizza crust is hard and stale now, but that makes it perfect for dipping in soup! I feel like an american woth how well Im eating! This will last me the next two weeks after I add in the rest of the cabbage... I cant let this food go to waste, otherwise I might starve once the pot runs out.

Food is expensive up here in canada, and a goth girl ate that slice. Calories are calories at the end of the day.
