Do you mean like the bun is falling apart or the veggies are squishing out as you eat it? If it's the latter try cutting it in half or moving the tomatoes between the cheese and lettuce. Generally you want the most slippery items touching the cheese since that'll help hold it in place.

Never ever does the meat go right onto a bun, that means all moisture is sucked up by the bun, which in turn falls apart when you attempt to eat it. Of course toasting, or ideally butter toasting it helps somewhat.
Sauce that marries with the meat goes next to the meat, for example grilled onions, bacon or onion jam, or a steak sauce like A1.
Sauce that marries with the tomatoes (such as mayo or special sauce) touches the tomatoes and onions. Go ahead and use lettuce to help the bun not soak it up. I like my bacon and cheese with the burger meat.

Use a bit of mayo on the bottom bun - it's hydrophobic. Toasted bread is hydrophilic - it will absorb and fall apart. If the lettuce is dry, it can go under the patty. If it's freshly rinsed, it goes up top. Things that fall off, like pickles and onions, hot peppers, are sliced as widely as possible, and go against sauce (top bun - ketchup, mustard, etc.). Cheese looks better on top of the patty, but actually functions better underneath - it doesn't do much to grip tomatoes or lettuce, but it does keep juices from dripping down.

stack from the top bun flipped upside down, not from the bottom bun. It's bigger and easier to grab. Plus you'll see lifting it to your mouth, by rotating it is more intuitive

Don't just say 'salad' they're not as interchangeable as you think when it comes both to taste and structure
Adding additional lettuce barriers anywhere juices are leaking and causing soggy bun disintegration is encouraged. Warm lettuce barriers can just be removed, the cold crisp lettuce is still there. Leaf only, shredded lettuce will always spill over here regardless unless suspended in a lake of mayo like a mcchicken.
Also you could always just serve your burger upside down and open faced or like the McDLT
