hey i just started re-reading the comic week ago
was touched, how entertaining the comic originally was. the humor it had, the characters, the universe, it was pretty wholesome. remove the edgy viltrumite crap and you have quite a wholesome verse
I didnt remember Savage Dragon. his comic is kino, such a likeable hero and friends
Brit was always my favourite
Capes Inc is weird but fun nonetheless
most importantly, the amount of one-time villains, in all the stories, man they're all fun
Tech Jacket is next on the reading guide. I loved that comic, ONLY THE VOLUME 1. volume 2 was cancerous, an atrocity, it murdered all the soul the first volume had by turning the cast into edgy teenage drama, and the cute and warm alien girl becoming a bitch (and a lesbian if I remember correctly)

Anyway, the covers quotes/slogan, the punchilines, the everything, it really was a kino universe. did it really need this edgy plot twist???

I know it's only issue 7 but what was the fan reaction (if any) at this point? Up until now the comic had been fairly light hearted, funny, maybe a little tongue in cheek. Then again, it's hardly the first time comics had done a "good guy goes evil" fake out so I can also see if readers were just going the wait-and-see route

the thing I want to clear my head the most, are the secondary villains, the snake-whatever group of villains. in my head they are supposed to be mere nuisances, but I know they actullay became SERIOUS threat, did SERIOUS damage, and actually made atrocities. they turned out to be different from all the other side villains who were just monster-of-the-week villains
