He really overstates the efficacy of esoteric shit. Don't use it as a guide. And don't let yourself start focusing on minutia while forgetting the important shit (good sleep, train hard, calories in check for your goals, high protein, mostly quality clean foods). If you're neglecting the basics while using cold showers and red light therapy you lost the plot.

Sells greens and everything else under the sun. Dude is smarter than all of us, but wants the cash more. If he hasn't advertised something recently then the info is accurate.

Rhonda Patrick until you get your fill. She really only says a few things, but good for about 20 hours of information.

from what I've listened to so far he does seem to get very caught up in the weeds. he has helped me focus more on the basics though like sleep and hydration, and generalizations for optimal timing windows for things like exercise if you can do them, like avoiding cold for 4+ hours after a lift.

I drive 15 hours a week, so...
does she say anything besides cruciferous veggies and whatever that substance is people say you can replace your toothpaste with?

metformin is something that longevity enthusiasts take to attempt to prolong their life, but every time a study is attempted to prove this theory the study is ended early due to adverse health markers in the participants.

He lies fucking constantly and has no fucking idea what he's talking about 90% of the time and still talks with authority.
Ironically Pedo Attia has the best podcast for fitness related topics. He's been around forever and has only had a couple truly bad takes and he's walked them back.

Patrick is unironically the worst in the entire fucking industry. You have no ability to parse information whatsoever if you take anything she has to say seriously. Buy her genetic tests for $1k each and you'll live forever goyim. Yes great deal very legit.

I like the Starting Strength podcast. Mostly just because I like Rippetoe. I only follow maybe half a dozen "personalities" across various fields total, because I like the guy. 99% of things I have zero interest in the person presenting even if they're talking about something I'm interested in. But I could listen to someone who I like talk about almost anything.

His early podcasts will have the useful stuff (sleep exercise diet etc). All these podcaster types churn out very repetitive content (which can be useful, to keep you motivated), and/or delve into dubious/niche "fitness hacks", often based on a random study on rats.
You mention "keeping up with health, exercise, nutrition, scoience"; there won't be any grand revelations that change the fundamentals.
