My no-go on cards is actually not tokens, it's the intro. If the intro is literally 3 sentences of set-up and 1 line of dialogue, I'm out. I've seen a 2k token card where the intro was nothing, and then looked at what the defs were and it was just the most over-generated AI nonsense. But I've seen 1000 token cards with great intros and they've been really solid. So, tells me if you put time into a good intro, you probably made the tokens worth it.
