I tried to avoid symbol drawing as much as possible and just followed the contours and curves of the reference but it still ends up off.
Pic took me like one whole hour of focused work, ive been drawing various irl objects and humans for 2 months now, what's my fucking problem?
Black line is the correction.

So how do you git gud at proportions? I read draw to life so i know how to use the basic tools but for faces its more precise and slightly lower eyes or noses will ruin everything

i'm a filthy furry so i won't help with the face itself but why on earth did you think this is what his skull looked like? it's obviously dark areas but his skull is there there.
