Does that make songs like Heat Abnormal unprofessional? He probably wont use her cuz he doesn't like the trend, doubt it has anything to do with the software

Maybe if he stopped caring about appearing professional his music wouldn't be so boring and bland.
PinnochioP is still using yukkuri and is that professional?

>TFW there will be no new diva games because the jews at sega think gacha games are far more profitable
>>
>>50647167
they are thoughever. why put miku behind a single purchase when you could put her face on a slot machine instead.
project diva games were never super successful, they were just for the fans.
the concerts as well don't really generate any profit.
>>
>>50647264
for real? I always knew miku was more or less a merchandise machine like most japanese-origin characters but i didnt know it dwarves the concert sales completely since theyre usually sold out everytime a new one is supposed to happen. The diva games i understand sure but its still bullshit cuz its soooo fucking lame
>>
>>50647264
>project diva games were never super successful
there are only 2 types of project diva buyers: vocaloid fan or parents who just bought a playstation for their little daughter and got the blue haired anime girl game for instead of gta because its too violent
>>
>>50647284
sega at least made the right move by making the arcade game when the hobby was first super popular. that is the previous generation's way of printing money. though i have no idea if they made any money past the initial purchase of the machines..
i want to give team sega some credit for making such fantastic high quality experiences involving our queen. really it doesn't get said enough. the games are pure 10/10's. amazing work went into these titles. a gaggle of stinky otaku like us don't deserve them.

truthnuke i bought megamix on steam and ive been playing on it a bunch this past couple weeks and genuinely most of the people who own this game on steam barely play it, like they bought it just because its miku and nothing else. I have no idea how the diva games manage to feel "niche" at this point
>>50647310
theyre really good games and extremely addicting. Genuinely my only issue with the franchise in general is that they butchered Love is War by giving it a generic PV and shortened in half. It shouldve been a crime against humanity and all those shareholders/executives need to be put on trial in the hague for allowing no new diva games to the point where shit like gta 6 and half life 3 is coming out sooner
>>
>>50647338
i forget which version it was, probably future tone, where love is war was mixed down wrong. the lows are absolutely blown out. it's like they wanted that bass line to have more presence since it's a big part of the rhythm, but it feels like the levels were adjusted on headphones, so if you play the game with a subwoofer it's UNBEARABLY loud. like dangerous to your equipment loud.

How to make a Cosmo song
1. Write lyrics about the most random shit
2. Set BPM to 275 (minimum)
3. Make everything sound like your computer just crashed
4. Test it in 20 rhythm games (make sure it's close to impossible in all of them)
5. Draw Miku/Una in a maid or goth outfit
>>
>>50647167
>sega think gacha games are far more profitable
That's because they are. They could always make a Project DIVA live service game on console/PC and as long as they don't fuck up the launch and they actually support it with new songs, modules/characters, multiplayer like in SEKAI, etc., it would probably do fine.
I personally hate live service games, but I'd also not want to pay full price for a new game with potentially less songs than the last and is also worse than the previous releases in some way, which has often been the case with the DIVA series.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>50647620
i wouldnt mind a live service diva game but they would butcher it in some way.
>>50647665
i mean the core audience of diva games would be there day 1, and sekai fans might be interested but other than that ur probably right

guys am i fucking losing my mind or does every release of "love is war" sound completely different from one another? its either minor differences like layering (i assume thats the term, as in sometimes the instrumental is louder than the vocals and vice versa) or it just sounds ever so slightly different. i feel like im going insane
>>

the versions of ryo's songs uploaded to NND that were released before the album came out were early, rough WIP versions. they were remastered for the album release.
the audio quality allowed on NND in 2009 was awful.
the versions in the games are also different from the album release, because they request official stems from the authors and have to mix them in a way so that all of the instruments are on a different track separate from the vocals so the vocals can be muted when you miss a note.
specifically the master made for future tone's love is war is really fucking bad, as i pointed out in an earlier post. (i didn't upload this video then because i don't think anyone really cares) https://streamable.com/vkd931
^ the people who record these versions and put them on youtube are likely more concerned about video bitrate and encode times of the video track than they are the audio track, and also youtube has been caught bitcrushing video streams of old videos that have existed for years, don't know about audio so much but that is another questionable factor.
>>
the versions of songs in concerts are also different but that much should be obvious. they lower the levels of the instruments, so you can hear the live performers better, but they have to then make sure the vocaloid can be heard, so the vocals are also on a separate track. the music is synced to a click track, which only the performers can hear.
there's been some technical fuckups in the concerts over the years that reveals what they're doing. also behind the stage interviews and stuff. i have been unable to find the source of that video ever again, i think it was only in a concert i downloaded, not online. the concerts are gearhead's wet dream. there is so much going on behind the scenes it's ridic
