>How much of George R. R. Martin’s unpublished novels do you have access to? Do you have the details of stories that he hasn’t written yet?
>I do. There’s a document that few people have read. He works all offline. His computer is not connected to the internet, so things have to be printed out and passed around that way. I’ve seen the plan for 12, 13, 14, 15, maybe, of these novellas. It would be fantastic, but I don’t want to get carried away here. Let’s see if people watch the show. Maybe we’re just one, one and a half, two and done and we all go home, but it’s a lot of fun to write in this world so I hope we get to do more.

I could almost believe that simply because the stakes are so much lower and he could actually bang one out in a fit of inspiration over like two weeks. He doesn't need to fit a hundred plot threads or live up to anything or even hit a final ending for the Dunk stories.

>A peaceful land
>A quiet people
Why is roose one of the only competent people in the north?
In fact in the entire realm
Everyone else seem like retarded children with all their decisions
>>

It would be cool to get a Roose POV. I know its probably gonna happen but I dont want the Boltons to go extinct. They got flair to em. Pink cloaks and flayed armor? Cool as fuk. Definitely one of the more interesting houses in the world. Flaying vampire lords.

>Gets his heir killed because he can't stop himself from raping a random peasant
>Sets himself up as the most easily usurped Lord Paramount in SK history
>Let's his dumb bastard son degenerate into a rapist bandit because he left a rapist bandit thief raise him
He's quite literally one of the dumbest characters. He's the Tywin of the North. If any other character did the stupid shit he does, they'd just die immediately. But because he's a stark villain he has God tier plot armor.

>Aided Roberts rebellion instead of siding with the dragon lords when everyone thought it would easily be crushed
>Outmaneuvered his eternal stark enemies and set up easy alliances for the north with himself as the helm without losing any of his soldiers
>Baited stannis into heading into the ruins of winterfell in the middle of a snow storm
He literally outmaneuvered and placed himself in the best position at every instance through his entire history, in gambles other lords would NEVER take
He literally see's the board on par with littlefinger
His retard mongrel son is akin to something to Tywins version of The Mountain
Useful until he's not.

>Aided Roberts rebellion
So did his fucking liege, Ned. I guess Ned is even smarter than Roose now, since he made the right pick without his liege lord doing it for him.
>Outmaneuvered his eternal stark
Outmaneuvered them how? He had them all ripe for the taking weak and defenseless in his grasp, supported by a host of conspirators, and through all of that only managed to kill one. The rest are all around and kicking. Didn't even bother to make sure that said one's Tully mom remains actually dead.
>set up easy alliances for the north
What alliances? The Freys? Roose helped them betray their ally, he knows what their loyalty is worth. What else? Oh, right, fucking nothing.
>Baited stannis into heading into the ruins of winterfell in the middle of a snow storm
Asof the actual canon, Roose is himself eating Frey pies in said ruins, rubbing his back against a fatass actively murdering Roose's own beloved allies and harboring his king's enemies. And he knows nothing and does nothing. He had one imposter to legitimize his bastards claims with and he lost even her, which would not even be the first or second time Arya Stark has slipped from under his nose.
The only real Roose Ws through the entire series so far are Fat Walda turning out to be a freak in bed and getting Vargo Hoat to turn coat. .
>>
>>25029761
The karstarks is signed onto the plot with boltons
The umbers and the rest of the north also signed onto to pay homage to the boltons. Despite previous being enemies and never liking the boltons all that much
The only one who's against the boltons is the fat fuck in white harbor.
They gained the Lannisters as well
The freys are completely fucked if they turn again and would be wiped out by both sides so their only hopes are to continue to hope that both the north and casterly rock remain on their sides against the various riverlords
The current opposition is only some zombie women
Stannis the retard
Dorne and young Griff who will be too busy fighting Lannisters
Whatever the fuck little finger is planning with Sansa
And whatever schizo plot Euron is doing which could also be teaming up with the boltons themselves
Realistically the only real opposition is going to come from Stannis
And Azor Snoozehai reborn and his magic sword isn't looking like he's about to win this war anytime soon
>Muh dead freys
White Harbor is going to get sacked by Euron
It's obvious that's where the story is going

The Freys are completely fucked either way.
>some zombie women
"Some zombie woman" has successfully exterminated Frey forces in the Riverlands.
>The current opposition is
...every single Stark save Robb. Plus Jon Snow, the Wildlings, the Ironborn that are still in the North, the Skagosi, the Bear island, exactly 0 Northern lords holding any loyalty to Dreadfort whatsoever - and we're just getting started.

He doesn’t think of himself as a “GRRM, celebrated author of ASOIAF” but as “GRRM, creator of the ASOIAF cinematic universe” anymore. His actions over the last few years have made it very clear where his priorities lie.
That’s why he had such a freak-out over Condal ruining yet another show (after HotD was supposed to wipe away the second half of GoT), and now wants yet another attempt at it with Dunk & Egg.
>>

>Aided Roberts rebellion
Even the fucking Greyjous did that. No one in their right mind except the biggest cucks in the story thought sticking around with Aerys and hoping his dumbass son would do better was a good idea. Even Mace fucking Tyrell only showed token support by sitting his fat ass at Storms End and let Rhaegar die in the Riverlands.
>Outmanoeuvred his eternal stark enemies
By taking the blame for Tywins scheme which has completely removed any chance of him actually surviving, unlike the Starks because the dumb fuck never remarried until he found his fat frey wife and is now left with an insane bastard who will most likely end up inheriting. The motherfucker literally got fed human pie because he chomped at the bit to betray the Starks instead of doing his job and aiding Robb which probably would have left him in a better position, or at least wouldn't have led to him not being the most pathetic Lord Paramount solely because Walder Frey also holds the title.
>Baited Stannis
He's literally on the verge of getting baited himself, and if Stannis doesn't kick his shit in as all military strategy would imply, then it just goes further to show how thick his plot armor is. He came up with a harebrained scheme to come up with a fake Arya as if some of the lords wouldn't have already met her, and some random fucking Poole with no resemblance to any Stark could possibly fool them. The his mongrel son is half the reason he's having such a hard time, because he can't stop being a degenerate long enough to avoid torturing what half his lords think is the last living unmarried child of their favorite Lord Paramount.
He doesn't see jack shit, he sucked Tywins dick, sabotaged Robb, all to get himself widely despised, remembered for breaking a sacred custom across an entire continent that doesn't share anything in common with the next region except hate. All just to end up fighting every one of his lords while they butcher his in-laws, and feed them to him while his son runs around wasting time and manpower on the dumbest shit while permanently dragging his name through the mud even further. Of all the "Second Best" Lords, Roose is by far the most pathetic of them even if you include Walder Frey, who is actually the one that's always getting a good deal besides the one with the Red Wedding which has irrevocably fucked him.
>>
>>
>>25029349
He's not holding onto anything, he's just not writing it anymore. Have you written anything a few years ago? Now imagine trying to follow up on it while keeping it consistent. Like that other anon said, Dany has been shitting for 15 years, Tywin has been dead for longer. There is no possible way he ever finished that book, and all the people going "oh he's just reacting to fan backlash!" Are coping because it is his own fault he got that reaction, and he could have easily remedied it if he didn't like it.

>The Andal Invasion
>Was it supposed to mirror the Anglo-Saxons or the Normans?
The First Men arriving in Westeros is an analog for the ancient Indo-European migrations, the Andals are the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Britain after the fall of Rome and the Targaryens are foreign conquerors mirroring the Normans invading and taking over.
>>
>>25030436
The funny thing is that Ramsay also antagonized both of those houses by being a dumb fuck. He actually left Roose out to dry completely, despite what he says he absolutely rues the day he raped his mother more than anything else, he had a good thing going, and Ramsay absolutely fucked him over in every conceivable way.

How would you write a Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots-esque showdown between Bittersteel and Bloodraven? Two elderly men beating the shit out of each other as a climax to asoiaf. I'm thinking Bittersteel's gold covered skull plopped onto a wight body, fueled by ice magic. Bloodraven could possess Jon. Oldsteel vs Jonraven. I just think this is really funny and worth writing about.
>>
>>
>>
>>25030505
Eh, I'd say otherwise, the Andals are for more similar to the Normans, and the Ironborn come across more like the original Angles, Saxons, and Jutes that invaded England after being hired to protect them. The Targs just have the William the Conquerer thing going on, but culturally the Andals did to the First Men what the Normans did to the Anglo-Saxons. George just split up various parts of the various invasions between the three.

0% chance Roose does not recognize the taste of human flesh btw. He actually acts pretty shook during that feast (for Roose Bolton).

I think it was also partly because he wasn't sure if Manderly was entirely that much of a pussy and had his guard let down by Manderly also eating the fucking pie with him. I don't know about recognizing the taste, but I think after seeing him that happy, and the rat cook song, it became very obvious, and he began to realize how deep the hatred went, as well as how unstable his position was.

They thought it would be funny to take a literal shit as the GoT theme played. I guess the idea was to cement it as a different type of show but it just came out as “this is what I think of this material”. The rest of the show seemed okay (or they’re just saving their retard rewrites for later) so it’s just weird and offputting to new viewers.
GURM seems to understand that. It’s wild that all these Hollywood types refuse to listen. He was gonna tear HotD a new asshole in that multi part series before the lawyers shut it down. And this is the guy who always wanted to be in Hollywood writing scripts. Lol.

>The new interviews prove that WoW will be released soon.
Of course it's going to be released, there is over 1,000 pages written. The issue is, George is a perfectionist and wants only 7 books and doesn't want to split the books up (which already has happened in UK). The issue at hand is George starts off the book with alot of shit happening and than it starts me meandering thought the rest and there is no definitive "end" of the book. The only thing left is when we will get Winds, not if. Dreams is completely up in the air if we we will ever see.

Oh, George…
As some always suspected, George RR Martin is attempting to change the end of ASOIAF because he didn’t like how the audiences responded to his intended end to the epic fantasy saga:
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Martin said, “[The book’s ending is] going to be significantly different.”
“Some characters who are alive in my book are going to be dead in the show, and vice versa,” he added.
Now, obviously characters being dead in the show that are still alive in the books is already the case, but this is significantly different from what Martin was saying before the show ended and even immediately after it ended back in 2019.
Nevertheless, he shared some specifics about what he is now planning for his ending, “I was going to kill more people. Not the ones they killed [in the show]. They made it more of a happy ending. I don’t see a happy ending for Tyrion. His whole arc has been tragic from the first. I was going to have Sansa die, but she’s been so appealing in the show, maybe I’ll let her live …”
None of this changes his fundamental problem of having introduced FAR too many perspective characters, which is why it is unlikely that either THE WINDS OF WINTER or any more books in the series will ever be published in his lifetime.
And frankly, I think he should change the ending, assuming he is somehow able to find a way to wrap it up. Because the ending of the television show was terrible and indefensible in literally every single way. There was no sense in which it was either satisfying or made any sense; it would have been much better if he had shown the courage of his convictions and had the Night King triumph over all.
That’s what his crabbed little soul really craves, but he doesn’t have the backbone for it.

> Danes ain't vikings
Viking is an occupation not a nationality. The vikings drew primarily from modern Denmark and Norway, so yes the “Danes” were vikings.

The Normans didn’t magically turn into Frenchies in 100 years dimwit. They were good at syncretism not assimilation which is why Britain despite only ever getting a handful of actual northmen invading them are stuck with permanent linguistic heritage as well as entire regions with cultural changes all this time later.
For northern France it meant having a new culture of occupation that didn’t just assfuck Brits and give them a generational trauma, they also went on conquests across Europe. Just like their ancestors. Because they’re the same people.

They kinda did. William the Conqueror was only the 6th generation since his Scandinavian ancestor Rollo swore fealty to the French and was granted Normandy in 911 AD. By 1066 (only a 155 years later) the Normans were wholly French.

Is Doran Martell an actual retard? His sister, brother and son died a horrible death and his slut daughter will end up marrying a wrong dragon and probably die along with Aegon once Dany uses dragons to burn down King Landing, assuming Cersei/Jon Connington won't burn it before her
What is exactly his master plan? Kill every single member of house Martell?

He knows she is a massive whore and he sent her to act as a "diplomat" to a 19 year old extremely handsome boy who just started an invasion. Even if Aegon wins you still have to worry about his, crazy cousin mother of literal dragons with army of fanatical eunuchs eventually coming to westeros. Doran had waited 20 years for revenge and then literally chose the most stupidest moment to act on his plans, whatever they are. If he did nothing he would win by process of elimination because all great houses would slaughter eachother and there would be no one left except for house Martell. But he choose to send ALL his children to certain death. He must be a secret lannister/tyrell

I just had a thought we all know GRRM is stumped and in Dance it was the Mereenese knot but Winds seems to be proven several difficult dilemmas for him in particularly probably The Others and how they are going to factor into the last act of the "trilogy". My bet is it will be who tames which of two of Daenerys dragons and what order it'll be in since there seems to be another Dance being set up probably before the Others Invasion happens.
>>
File: 1764245531412047.png (132.7 KB)

Think about the arrogance of GRRM doing endless interviews and conventions knowing that he doesn't want to talk about the only subject people are interested in hearing about. It pretty much sums the whole thing up: he doesn't want to be a writer. He's just an old man who wants attention, and all he wants to do is revel in it now that he has the chance because no one really cares about any of his other pet interests.
I kinda resent him for it. I also get it to an extent. Imagine being able to get everybody to listen to whatever you want to talk about. It must induce a high on some chemical level.
I just think about all the writers who would kill to have the ability to create works for a wide audience to enjoy, but George is content to spend this opportunity on conventions, award shows, and other ego boosting events.
>>
>>
>>
>>25034217
Yeah the Dance part of the book was pushed into this book which is also supposed to be the Winter/Others invasion book. The logical conclusion of solving the Mereenese knot was cutting it in half and shoving the second half into an 8th book but GRRM doesn't want to.

>Once, so tormented she could not sleep, Dany slid a hand down between her legs, and gasped when she felt how wet she was. Scarce daring to breathe, she moved her fingers back and forth between her lower lips, slowly so as not to wake Irri beside her, until she found one sweet spot and lingered there, touching herself lightly, timidly at first and then faster. Still, the relief she wanted seemed to recede before her, until her dragons stirred, and one screamed out across the cabin, and Irri woke and saw what she was doing.
>Dany knew her face was flushed, but in the darkness Irri surely could not tell. Wordless, the handmaid put a hand on her breast, then bent to take a nipple in her mouth. Her other hand drifted down across the soft curve of belly, through the mound of fine silvery-gold hair, and went to work between Dany's thighs. It was no more than a few moments until her legs twisted and her breasts heaved and her whole body shuddered. She screamed then. Or perhaps that was Drogon. Irri never said a thing, only curled back up and went back to sleep the instant the thing was done.

She liked Domeric but he appears to have been a Bolton outlier, as they're pretty much uniformly bad guys.

>the Winter/Others invasion book.
What would you even write?
Chapter 1
"Oh no, the Others are attacking, run away!"
Chapter 10
"Oh no, the Others are attacking again, run away!"
Chapter 15
"Oh no, the Others are still attacking, run away!"
The Others will be dealt with in one or two chapters, where a character (probably Arya) one-shots the Final Boss just like a vidya game, because that's the ONLY way to stop them.
>>
Someone explain to me why he cares so fucking much about the TV adaptions that he basically crashed all his writing progress for the last 15 years because of it. Is it just a boomer american thing to love the electric jew that much? Its not like it even made the adaptions good in the end, plus everyone knows that the adaption everyone remembers will be whatever fans think is the best one. Nobody gives a shit about the lotr animated film.
>>

well yeah if you want to build up the gigantic evil horde that has been talked about as the ultimate threat since book 1 you should probably write a few chapters about how shits fucked and its absolutely hopeless. It would be lame if the Others dont even make it past the North.

>Someone explain to me why he cares so fucking much about the TV adaptions
Because he is a vain hedonist. He likes when he gets praise for writing Emilia Clarke, portraying a child, getting rammed up the ass by a sandnigger barbarian. He doesn't like when he gets criticism for not finishing the books.

It honestly fits that the fanfic is the only Winds we will get considering GrrM is nearly as retarded that stuff.
GrrM would probably be as chronically on twitter as Stephen King if he had finished the books.

Gurm IS the Electric Jew. He got his start writing for bad television, e.g. that Linda Hamilton/Ron Perlman Beauty and the Beast where the Beast was a literal C.H.U.D.
He was hoping for that TV adaptation from day 1, and having it become the most popular, defining TV series of a decade must have been beyond his wildest dreams. Once that happened, the asspain of writing the books themselves must have seemed monumentally unimportant to him.

Not to mention a bronze age civilization was able to fight the others to at least a standstill which led to the first pact. I have no doubt that a high medieval civilization can put up a decent fight especially with dragons.

Beacause George is a hipster who hates le good vs le evil.
>“I admire Tolkien greatly. His books had enormous influence on me. And the trope that he sort of established—the idea of the Dark Lord and his Evil Minions—in the hands of lesser writers over the years and decades has not served the genre well. It has been beaten to death. The battle of good and evil is a great subject for any book and certainly for a fantasy book, but I think ultimately the battle between good and evil is weighed within the individual human heart and not necessarily between an army of people dressed in white and an army of people dressed in black."
>Much as I admire Tolkien, and I do admire Tolkien — he’s been a huge influence on me, and his Lord of the Rings is the mountain that leans over every other fantasy written since and shaped all of modern fantasy — there are things about it, the whole concept of the Dark Lord, and good guys battling bad guys, Good versus Evil, while brilliantly handled in Tolkien, in the hands of many Tolkien successors, it has become kind of a cartoon. We don’t need any more Dark Lords, we don’t need any more, ‘Here are the good guys, they’re in white, there are the bad guys, they’re in black.
>Septon Cellador paled. "Seven save us." Wine dribbled down his chin in a red line. "Lord Commander, wights are monstrous, unnatural creatures. Abominations before the eyes of the gods. You … you cannot mean to try to talk with them?"
>"Can they talk?" asked Jon Snow. "I think not, but I cannot claim to know. Monsters they may be, but they were men before they died. How much remains? The one I slew was intent on killing Lord Commander Mormont. Plainly it remembered who he was and where to find him." Maester Aemon would have grasped his purpose, Jon did not doubt; Sam Tarly would have been terrified, but he would have understood as well. "My lord father used to tell me that a man must know his enemies. We understand little of the wights and less about the Others. We need to learn."
>Ser Patrek smiled. "Tell me, Lord Commander, should the Others turn up, do you plan to offer hospitality to them as well?"

What a hack, I bet he can't find even a satisfying way to end it that way either because there isn't one. He hasn't even set up the others as anything but cruel and indifferent with humanity. Just make them a force of nature, its much easier narratively. Fuck even D&D established the others better.

>Fan: How would you describe Littlefinger and Varys’ relationship?
>George: Adversarial! Both of them know a lot about the other, including some very damaging things. They're essentially in a stalemate because they know that if one reveals what they know about the other, the other would reciprocate, and then they could both be destroyed. I think Littlefinger has a better idea of what Varys wants than Varys has an idea of what Littlefinger wants. Littlefinger is an agent of chaos who likes to be unpredictable and succeeds in that.

So so tired of this low effort, braindead take being constantly repeated by drooling morons who havent even read the books.
Anyone whose read them and has an above room temp IQ knows how wildly different the ending will be. Even the things that are likely to be the same, like Bran ending up in charge, will be so wildly different in tone as to make the show version unrecognizable. The last time we saw Bran he had just unknowingly consumed his closest friend to join minds with the wierwood hive mind. Completely different tone to the wisecracking psychic kid we got in the show, and obviously if he ends up in charge it will be because he's Jon Snows eldest male relative, not because of some best story nonsense.
The books dont even have a Night King for gods sake, so obviously all the white walkers wont end up defeated by some Arya slight of hand bullshit.

>Davos felt a stab of despair. His Grace should have sent another man, a lord or knight or maester, someone who could speak for him without tripping on his own tongue. "Death," he heard himself say, "there will be death, aye. Your lordship lost a son at the Red Wedding. I lost four upon the Blackwater. And why? Because the Lannisters stole the throne. Go to King's Landing and look on Tommen with your own eyes, if you doubt me. A blind man could see it. What does Stannis offer you? Vengeance. Vengeance for my sons and yours, for your husbands and your fathers and your brothers. Vengeance for your murdered lord, your murdered king, your butchered princes. Vengeance!"
>"Yes," piped a girl's voice, thin and high.
>It belonged to the half-grown child with the blond eyebrows and the long green braid. "They killed Lord Eddard and Lady Catelyn and King Robb," she said. "He was our king! He was brave and good, and the Freys murdered him. If Lord Stannis will avenge him, we should join Lord Stannis."
>Manderly pulled her close. "Wylla, every time you open your mouth you make me want to send you to the silent sisters."
>"I only said—"
>"We heard what you said," said the older girl, her sister. "A child's foolishness. Speak no ill of our friends of Frey. One of them will be your lord and husband soon."
>"No," the girl declared, shaking her head. "I won't. I won't ever. They killed the king."
>Lord Wyman flushed. "You will. When the appointed day arrives, you will speak your wedding vows, else you will join the silent sisters and never speak again."
>The poor girl looked stricken. "Grandfather, please …"
>"Hush, child," said Lady Leona. "You heard your lord grandfather. Hush! You know nothing."
>"I know about the promise," insisted the girl. "Maester Theomore, tell them! A thousand years before the Conquest, a promise was made, and oaths were sworn in the Wolf's Den before the old gods and the new. When we were sore beset and friendless, hounded from our homes and in peril of our lives, the wolves took us in and nourished us and protected us against our enemies. The city is built upon the land they gave us. In return we swore that we should always be their men. Stark men!"
>The maester fingered the chain about his neck. "Solemn oaths were sworn to the Starks of Winterfell, aye. But Winterfell has fallen and House Stark has been extinguished."

I hope to god HOTD kills off Baela and Rhaena. I have no idea why George left those two alive. The whole "civil war that almost eradicated Targaryen dynasty" premise is lost when there are two fully grown Targaryens living after the war. It's much more impactful when the only survivors are two children forever traumatized by the war their parents brought (+ Viserys but he wont show up a few years later)
Baela should be taken out with Moondancer by Aegon and Sunfyre on Dragonstone.
Rhaena in canon gets married to a Hightower and has six Hightower children. Daemon's daughter becoming a green broodmare is a suitable end.
Jaehaera should be left alive. Fuck Peake performance, this is the way to go.
Aegon II's line would continue with Blackfyres in this scenario. Which actually makes it even more poetic. Every Blackfyre rebellion afterwards would be the blood of Aegon II and Rhaenyra fighting for the throne. An eternal Dance of Dragons...
Aegon II + Helaena = Jaehaera
Jaehaera + Aegon III = Daena
Daena + Aegon IV = Daemon B.

GRRM loves his based northern little girls
>The king wore lambswool breeches and a quilted doublet, yet somehow he looked as stiff and uncomfortable as if he had been clad in plate and mail. His skin was pale leather, his beard cropped so short that it might have been painted on. A fringe about his temples was all that remained of his black hair. In his hand was a parchment with a broken seal of dark green wax.
>Jon took a knee. The king frowned at him, and rattled the parchment angrily. “Rise. Tell me, who is Lyanna Mormont?”
>“One of Lady Maege’s daughters, Sire. The youngest. She was named for my lord father’s sister.”
>“To curry your lord father’s favor, I don’t doubt. I know how that game is played. How old is this wretched girl child?”
>Jon had to think a moment. “Ten. Or near enough to make no matter. Might I know how she has offended Your Grace?”
>Stannis read from the letter. “Bear Island knows no king but the King in the North, whose name is STARK. A girl of ten, you say, and she presumes to scold her lawful king.” His close-cropped beard lay like a shadow over his hollow cheeks. “See that you keep these tidings to yourself, Lord Snow. Karhold is with me, that is all the men need know. I will not have your brothers trading tales of how this child spat on me.”

The plot revolves around two rival families whose fued is so ancient that no one remembers the origin, only that it had to do with an ancient prophecy. One of the families owns stables and raise horses (the brackens). One day one of the metzengersteins (Blackwoods), their rivals, burns the stables down, and the berlifitzing (bracken) lord dies in the fire trying to save one of his favorite horses. Later, that same horse shows up to metzengerstein and he becomes strangely infatuated with it, til one day his hold catches on fire and he loses control of the horse, likely possessed by the spirit of the lord he burned, as it runs into the fire to their deaths. This would work well as an in universe story of the Blackwood bracken fued, as it’s been speculated Brackens decend from first men and might have once had the ability to warg horses so the lord would have went into the horse as his second life to take vengeance on his Blackwood killer

>A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ is planned to span 12–15 seasons, following Dunk and Egg’s entire lives. — via Esquire
If this even happens, it'll be three seasons (the current one, Egg as a teen and then Egg as king) of six episodes, all in the same half hour format. HBO ain't getting 15 years out of this.

People still can't accept Bran as king when it should have been obvious from the beginning. It is crazy how all the male show watches wanted Jon and all the female watchers wanted Dany and seriously thought George was going to affirm their idealistic self-insert and make either the super duper chosen one that rules because they are the eugenics baby destined to rule them all.

Because most of the asoiaf art that gets circulated is made by transgenders and women who love making random characters brown, just like how they love making every nose way darker than the rest of the face.

It did attract more serious illustrations once, all the early illustrated books are full of amazing art, you just have to search on places other than reddit if you want the good art, most of it coming from eastern europe and asia.

I'm unironically pretty convinced that this is 100% how it's supposed to go and that's exactly why martin is so insecure about finishing the books, he's already seen how people reacted to the whole >Dany goes crazy>Jon kills her thing

>he's already seen how people reacted to the whole >Dany goes crazy>Jon kills her thing
The only way he can be insecure about it is if his version is close to the show version. If his version made sense based on previously established plot threads he would have nothing to fear. Him crying about it is a massive self-report unless he is actually so fucking dumb that he thinks people were angry just because Dany went mad and Bran became king devoid of context.

>"Off in the distance, a wolf howled. The sound made her feel sad and lonely, but no less hungry"
I always thought that was how she would fall in love Jon but her hunger for the throne would end up being stronger, eventually driving her mad and forcing Jon to kill her
