The Newcastle Knights are enjoying their best start in years after a professional 32-12 victory over the Raiders. Fletcher Sharpe boasts six tries in three outings versus the Wests Tigers. I came to a horrible realisation tonight
the majority of people on Fox League don't know the difference between done and did, they often say
>they wanted to go out there with strong defence and they done that tonight
like 90% of speakers last night said done, these cunts are on 6 figure incomes
and all I done last night was cry myself to sleep

Watching sport is becoming an increasingly autist-centric hobby. I remember back in the day crowds used to be populated by normal looking people, but half of the people in attendance these days are this sort of person.

Every crest up until 1999 focused on the fleur-de-lys present on the Wakefield County Borough coat of arms. When the club was rebranded the Wildcats the fleur-de-lys was dropped although the club was still called Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. the new crest was the wildcat with Wildcats predominantly showing. In 2012 the crest was tweaked to contain the club's full name and the fleur-de-lys symbol. The Wildcats name was still used, but from 2015 the fleur-de-lys featured inside a shield with two stars above it for the two Championship titles they have won. In 2017 the Club reverted to the name Wakefield Trinity and the club badge has been returned to a white fleur-de-Lys in a blue shield with the founding date of 1873 proudly displayed

>Ben Hunt has hit back at Shane Flanagan after the Dragons coach singled out the former captain as a big reason for the club’s ongoing roster problems.
>I asked Flanagan at his media conference during the week if he had got his roster wrong, and he pointed to the dramas with Hunt – who left the club at the end of 2024 with a year left on his contract – for the issues with the team list now.
>“Our marquee halfback walked out on the club,” Flanagan said. “Before I even started here, there were rumblings he wanted to leave. When your halfback walks out with no plan, it’s hard.”
>Those who know Hunt say he left because he didn’t want to be coached by Flanagan. He stayed for a year under Flanagan, and didn’t enjoy it.

I thought to myself, "Man I would like to see the warriors play the storm, that would be a good match". Sure enough it's the next match. Watched it on replay on TV and it was a great win for the warriors, both teams liking to get a win and I felt that the storm were playing the warriors on their merit this around. Warriors are firing away as one squad it looks like. They lost 2 matches when Metcalf came in, Harris jumps in and they get to a win. Boyd has gelled more with Harris than he has with Metcalf. I'm sure Metcalf came in too early. You can see it in the way he moves, looks tight to me. looks like 3 more weeks, but then obviously he suffers a hamstring strain, which isn't a surprise because it tells me his first injury hadn't healed properly, One partly healed injury can always cause another injury if you continue to play. To be fair they got the win, but they faced a down storm side, after the loss of their prop, the team, coaches, and club as a whole would've suffered some mental challenges going into the matches.

I think the big thing is that wahs defence looks far more solid with CHT. The two games we lost against the tigers and sharks they were running through us at will.
Metcalfe does need some time on the field to get back to where he was though and we now have Titans, Dolphins and Eels up next so maybe he comes in for those.
That being said, fucking rough to drop CHT after his performances this year

Disruptor rule was a joke. It was already against the rules to jump without going for the ball and bringing in this one arm bullshit was to help the retards in the bunker by giving them objective visual information to determine rulings
>>
>>
>>
>>154216085
Basically it’s obstruction and didn’t need a name change or any hard rules for evidence as the rules were already there. Bringing in these indicators whilst admitting that none of them are enough necessarily to determine obstruction has only brought confusion to players and fans. I blame the media for having nothing better to write about than to ask for more objectivity in rulings which are by their fundamental nature purely subjective.
>To determine whether there has been interference of obstruction with a player attempting to catch the ball, match officials look for the following indicators:
>players arriving early
>players not having their eyes on the ball but purely on the man
>players who jump through a contest and throw an arm out
>“They're all indicators, but they don't on their own necessarily mean that it's a disruptor or not," Annesley said.

Reserve grade will solve the issue with bench players not getting game time and allow more players on the bench.
Have the usual 4 players on interchange and then have another 8 players who’ve all played the full game of reserve grade, played immediately before first grade, on the bench as emergency replacements incase of hia rulings and maybe other injury.
Maybe even allow two of them as straight substitutions, so you have 4 interchange plus 2 subs.
The important thing is to bring back reserve grade with the same draw (schedule) as first grade. This will also offer fans better value for money
>>
>playing full game
This would mean not being subbed out due to injury, because there’s still interchange so it’d have to not mean they were on the field the whole game otherwise we’d have to start counting minutes and it’d get real silly

>Sea Eagles flier Jason Saab has revealed an ambition to honour his father and grandparents by representing Lebanon at Rugby League World Cup 2026.
>Saab, whose genetic father is Nigerian, was raised by his mother Alysia and stepfather Pierre, who introduced him to rugby league with Merrylands Rams and has been his biggest supporter as he progressed to the NRL ranks as a teenager.
>After marrying Alysia when Jason was just two years old, Pierre is the man Saab considers to be his father and the 25-year-old identifies with the Lebanese culture he grew up with
New eligibility loophole just dropped lads players might be playing for their stepfather's heritage now

Fatrell customers in denial. He failed to reach his potential to become a gun fullback because he got fat and unfit. Great centre, and you can be fat there, but he always wanted to be a fullback and failed to realise the dream.
