Doesn't matter how advanced humans get, they're still just monkeys.

Didn't realize the new thread was up already, usually takes forever.

>mechanics
Sorta, they aren't terribly complicated since this is for 5e (well written for Swords & Wizardry then they converted it) so it's mostly fucking with supplies or saving to avoid something bad happening. I'm not sure whether the Rough Seas one is too extreme of a check or not.

>Heatwave: The Sultan causes a heatwave to strike the ship, doubling the consumption of water and causing discomfort among the crew, which increases travel time by 1d4 days. Water may run out, forcing a stop at the nearest port or island.
>Rough Seas: Rough seas erupt around the ship due to the Sultan exerting his powers over the temperature of the waters. Characters must make a successful DC 18 Dexterity or Strength saving throw or be tossed overboard along with 1d4 crew members. They must be saved within 1d4 rounds or be lost at sea and drown. If the ship suffers a loss of more than half of its crew, there is a 50% chance of mutiny. Regardless of mutiny, the ship adds 1d6 days to its travel time due to the difficulties of running the vessel with a reduced crew.
>Storm: A rough storm erupts due to the Sultan meddling with the weather over the Sea of Baal. The captain must make a successful DC 15 Intelligence check with navigator’s tools or the ship runs aground and is damaged on one of the detailed islands in the chain. The storm also has the same effects as the rough seas event.
>Doldrums: The winds die completely, requiring the use of twice the provisions and water by rowers. This lasts for 2d6 days.

Hylians aren't elves. How many times must this be said?
>>
>>97494950
I would argue that link and zelda are; they have the right size and shape. Other hylians are half-elves at best, and humans with pointy ears at worst.
>>
>>97494662
Does this look elf enuff?
>>
>>97494950
>>97494972
we actually have humans in a few of the games, so yes, Hylians are ELVES
the words Japanese use to describe them means human-like because Japanese don't actually have a word in their natural language for elves
>Ningen can be used for all manners of human-shaped thing
>Just look at the 'ningen' hybrid
>>
>>97494974
Hm. Would bang.
>>
>>97494950
Look, Miyamoto or whomever at Nintendo can say whatever they want. They got pointy ears, they're elves. The Abh aren't elves either but nobody's gonna stop calling them space elves.
>>
I don't call Abh space elves.
Most of them don't even have elf ears.
>>
>>97494950
They're honorary elves.
>>
>TQ
For me it depends heavily on a character. For my current elf (Arrianne), outside of usual things that make a person likeable, I imagine she would appreciate anyone who understands her elven need to express herself and show emotions, as I consider all elves as very expressive beings. Anyone forcing her to bottle up, shame based on her bubbly behavior or punishment based on her expressiveness would be taken as an extremely mentally draining oppression if continually applied.

>it's for 5e
I will steal this, regardless. Thank you
>>
>>97496066
>Thank you
Hey no problem! The part where it comes up is around Level 5ish or so, and was written with the idea there would be places for a ship to limp off for repairs. It keeps things pretty loose since the focus isn't on sailing autism.

As for the barbarian, I mean. That's pretty common for that class. So long as he actually bites the baited hooks that progress the thing he wanted to do, all will be fine.
>>
>>97494238
i think elves look for beauty in all things, so even among the barbarians they would be able to appreciate things like the barbs' arts and culture in much the same way as british people walking around a museum full of african artifacts
>>

>>97496667
I could see it lol.

are different elf types capable of loving each other?
>>
>>97494779
It really is
>>
>>97497552
Now that you say it I don't recall any fantasy universe ever doing a half high/half wood or drow or whatever elf, I'm sure they exist in say the Elder Scrolls but ''half'' races there are just the mother's race with slight characteristics from the father like the orc with pale skin cuz his dad was a human vampire
>>
>>97497611
have you heard of DnD? Forgotten Realms?
>>
>>97496756
That's a gnome, halfing, dwarf, anything but an elf.
>>97497611
Bet Forgotten Realms had a number of them. Zhai from the Demon Stone game had a drow mother and a wood elf father.
>>
>>97497776
It's an elf, same as this one. You seem like a bit of a retard.
