Hear hear. I'm envious that you got the exclusive Josephs, but I have to be honest, I've never quite liked SAS Joseph. It just doesn't look like the Joseph I like. I am happy about the hammer and crossbow that comes with him, but that's about it.
The SHF is closer to the anime design and that's the one I'm fonder of. Plus it comes with good faces (even if I wish there were more), and a removable scarf without the hole situation.
Not sure if I will get the rest of the Jojos as I don't feel as strongly about manga design vs anime design for them, but I might. I've liked Jolyne's base anime colorway far more than the first two SAS versions we got, and if the SHF Jolyne ends up with good accessories that sell her stand effect, then I'll be happy to get her.
And if you got Jonathan as well, you now have hamon effects that work with both. Plus you can probably find ways to add it to their sword/clackers too.

Nah I feel the same way. I've collected the various SAS figures but I think the SHF lineup might be the first time I end up collecting all the main JoJos. Like you said, being based on the anime is what convinced me to get Jonathan and Joseph.
As an aside, I hardly bring out my SAS Josephs just because the joint tightness is inconsistent throughout with loose joints making them a bit of a hurdle to pose. So while it's nice to have them, I'm happy to have gotten the SHF as my go-to figure to pose and play around with.

I've eyed the SAS line. Its strenghts are obviously the accessories and breadth of character selection. The caveat is that figures from different parts are rarely scale compatible and the articulation is generally subpar.
For me, there was just not enough of a drive to pay out the ass for out of stock SAS back when I first got into them, and I wanted to avoid another source that emptied out my wallet just for the sake of a complete collection. I didn't wanna be financially drained for a completed collection of what are to be honest mostly mediocre figures and pay late comer tax on over half of them in the process, so I severely limited what JoJo SAS I got to just the ones I really wanted.

Feels good to finally own a clothed Schierke figure at last.
(Completely different anon, btw. I chose the cloth set that wasn't from maxbird.)
The wiring on the dress and cape are so faint yet steady enough to pull off wavy looks. Just naturally looks so nice compared to the plastic dress.
Only small issue is the hat is a little loose to fit neatly on head, so a slight bit of tug over the hairpiece is sometimes needed.
Very much enjoy it.

I did not pick the forgeknight set mainly because the stitching was so far from the edge of the cloth. This one (which I believe is from AYToys? not fully sure) is more silky fabric with very thin stitching that is less noticeable. They're both roughly the same price, just that quantity-wise, that forgeknight has the small leather bag if that mattered.

That was honestly 50% of the reason why I bought it. I couldnt complain about that for like 25 dollars. The real thing I hate though is that it covers the brooch on her shirt and you need to put on the fuckhuge cloak to use the included one.

Bleach because I'm biased and the line is fine.
Other than that, it's probably the MHA, Jojo and HxH line.
MHA I don't feel strongly about but the figs are good. HxH same but I at least care about more about HxH. Jojo I like and the two figures out so far impressed me, and I hope they keep that up.

Some are in a better spot because smaller sample size. YYH, JJBA and HxH are a good example. Two releases are out for all of them, and I think they're strong releases, but their next could be bad and drag it down.
Naruto has overall been strong other than Shikamaru.
Hero Academia is strong on average but has some issues. Some releases with subpar QC, some with weirdly restrictive engineering (Bakugo). JJBA looks very good so far and could end up being better still with every release. It could also have a release that drags it down.
DS is pretty strong but it costs so much and brings so little to the table. Not a single figure came with effects, and they're reaching or exceeding the 100 dollar mark. DBZ is a mixed bag. Some really good releases, but it's gone on for so long that it has lengths of time where like 3-4 releases are just straight middle of the pack. CSM has a lot of good releases, but some bad ones as well. Plus a lot of them have no accessories, which is kind of the Demon Slayer curse. Aki, Denji and Power are the only ones that I feel get some good accessories, and the Denji isn't as good as it should have been.
Bleach suffers from a lack of variety and there being no more driving force for releases. None of my Bleach figures suffered any QC issues, and all of them were pretty good. Except a majority of them are the same outfit, and all but the last 2 releases had basically nothing for accessories. It's basically a slightly weaker Demon Slayer except for Dual Zangetsu and Getsugatensho Ichigo, and the line hasn't continued past that so I can't judge after that.
One Piece is a mixed bag like Dragon Ball, except the mix is broadly negative. It has a few good figs, but most of them are mediocre to awful.
Dan Da Dan is just shit.

One Piece easily simply due to the huge number expressions available. To me face plates are the most important part of figures. Dragon ball is a close 2nd and Kinnikuman 3rd just because of the share character roster.

Are all the Ultraman figuarts not as posable as the Rider or even DBZ ones? I understand why it's intentional but it's disappointing if you're so used to those ones.

The only thing that the ultraline has over those is the head articulation but the last one I bought (blazar) has almost entirely better articulation than normal rider stuff outside of lack of bicep swivel. Other than that yeah, dbz articulation > rider>>ultra if I had to compare the 3.

Probably Dragon Ball. It's the only one I have a full detolf dedicated to while even if they released enough of the others I collect, they'd be lucky to get a whole shelf to themselves. Naruto's the runner up, though they really need to expand the roster and more pre-Shippuden figures would be great.

DB is probably the strongest overall, but I think most of them have been decent at worst. Even Rurouni Kenshin was fine aside from Kenshin's legs. HXH and YYH are up there with DB, assuming subsequent figures turn out as good as they seem. I don't think the JJBA figures are very good, but I'd still like to see them try Hokuto no Ken.

Scaling is where all of them drop the ball.
