This has been a massive dissapointment. I realize I got shilled into it and it's my own fault but this is actual trash for the price they ask for it. No ab crunch. Very fragile build. Ugly paintjob. I bought Suguru Geto recently and I think I'm going to quit collecting SHF. He's been on my mind all week. It's such a disappointing figure. They really didn't care when making him. You can't even pose him like that because he has ZERO ab crunch. The plastic is also poor quality, and there are paint bubbles and scratches everywhere. I have Gojo and Toji on the way too, but I wish I could just cancel them instead. I'm probably going to try reselling them the moment they arrive without opening. I feel like this line is too dated. The figures really suck, and worst of all, they look bad too. Seeing how good Figma and Snail Shell are compared to this has made me want to sell my whole SHF collection, and I think that's what I'm going to do. What a huge let down...

Half the Showa cast doesn't come with gripping hands to actually hold the motorcycle handle bars and a little over half of them can barely lift their legs up high enough to actually sit on their bikes.
Even Ichigo and Nigo, who got a specifically designed Cyclone for themselves, can barely sit on the thing without their butts slightly hovering the seats because the Showa buck actually just has worse leg mobility than old SHF
Let alone the fact that size inflation in SHF is real so the figures often just look too big for the bikes now.
You're probably better off waiting for them to release that Battle Hopper reissue they had in the works since SHFSS BLACK first came out and pray the rest get a turn. The original SHFs (first and renewal) release for both Hopper and Acrobatter are literal watered down recycles from Sochaku Henshin and those were made for even smaller figures.

They are either way too confident or they believe popular characters like Tiga or Black will be able to recoup the cost of their experimentations as well as easily be able to push these new untested waters engineering to customers who they know will buy it up regardless. Kind of like Ryuki's light pipping gimmick which has done so well they've gone back and retrofitted 3 previous SS Figuarts with said gimmick. But unlike the rubber parts or the cloth goods that gimmick is far less intrusive to the articulation nor is it damaging and something to be concerned over in the future. I do agree that they should be pushing those gimmicks onto lesser known characters in order to stress test them and refine it for the characters that matters to a lot of people.

Japanese twitter isnt too happy about the weird RX cloth thighs and they even pointed out that for some reason they also decided to replicate the plastic casing that the screen used prop belt had, but because of realistic production capabilities and translation at ~1/12 import scale it ends up looking bulky and nothing like the prop
