Depends if I find it on a good sale otherwise no, I will only get the final battle set. Let's hope we get more sets in 2027, like a full theme.

What Zelda set would you like to see made?

Apparently the september cmf is Shrek and was planned to tie in with the theme for Shrek 5 that was coming in december 2026 but it got delayed to summer 2027. It seems the cmf isn't delayed because it's based on the old movies.

Nothing.
LEGO has two big event films coming that they can make sets for, as well as a big event TV series.
They have three major fantasy projects in 2027:
>Legend of Zelda movie
>Lord of the Rings: Hunt for Gollum movie
>Harry Potter HBO tv series

That Ganon is pretty sick. The "Light Arrow" effect is less convincing though.

I'll buy it if I find it for under $200. I'm not price gouging myself just because Zelda is the most based video game Lego has the license for.

The other two are limited-stock “free” gifts with purchase, offered to encourage preorders of the sets.

No because I have no nostalgia for Ocarina of Time/MM. I grew up poor so when those games were out I really only had Banjoe Kazooie and Mario 64 and my first Zelda was the first one on NES and then Wind Waker. Also Breath of the Wild is the best Zelda game.

I've come to the conclusion that Lego just releases to many products in a year. They all steal each other's hype. Older sets are so memorable because we had to hold onto them longer and there wasn't a constant flood of new shit to distract you every week.

It's a toy that revolves around not only creativity and imagination but also dexterity, hand eye coordination, visualization, and following instructions and processes. How is it NOT education???? It's literally teaching almost all the intangibles you want kids to pick up in grade school

anyone who cares about zelda knows that ever since aonuma became lead dev the franchise stagnated extremely hard, and the most divisive games came out under him
he had one big game that was universally praised and then followed it up with the same game with a couple new areas scattered throughout

The big flat 32x32s are fine for like the big modular buildings, but the terrained ones with slopes and craters and stuff would be cool for castle and space and whatnot.
Even if they didn't necessarily include them in sets, but sold them on their own that'd be cool.
>>
>>
>>
>>11679636
I think it’s more that there too many sets above 100 dollars. I feel like the lego sets I want are at a bare minimum MSRP 170 dollars. And on average are 200+. It means less purchases overall and it means you are less likely to spend more. If there were 100 50 dollar sets I wanted in a year? It would be easy to lose track. I would probably buy too many, spread out over a long time. But 10 500 dollar sets? Yeah right. I know when I’m making a 500 dollar purchase.
>>
>>11679769
>I know when I’m making a 500 dollar purchase.
yeah, and Lego wants to know it, too
I'm certain that, at this point, Lego has solid data that says it's easier to sell 1 $500 set than it is to sell 10 $50 sets. probably by a lot. which is why we get so many high priced sets
>>11679636
>I've come to the conclusion that Lego just releases to many products in a year. They all steal each other's hype.
you bet Legos "competition" is ironically themselves. that's why they try not to have similar themes on the shelves. Harry Potter vs Castle type of thing. they would look too much like the same thing on the shelf (to mindless parents, not "us")

Clock Tower or pretty much anything from Majora's Mask.

There was a Turkic looking minifigure in one of the older CMF waves, I think it was just called desert warrior? I think there were also a few Greek warriors in the older CMF waves that could be repurposed as Persian but they might look too classical for a medieval build. Otherwise this is a longshot but some of the old Lego Prince of Persia stuff would probably have some good parts. Someone posted a gypsy cart MOC in this thread a while ago and I would imagine an eastern caravan consisting of carts like that. A gypsy with a crystal ball, bags of spices, gold bars and gemstones, etc.

>I've come to the conclusion that Lego just releases to many products in a year. They all steal each other's hype.
pretty much this
Im in /lg/ from around late Chima years and i remember for sure lego was releasing less products back then.
So literally every remotely good product was bought by every anon and we would talk about it for weeks and post our photos all the time...
What the fuck happened..
now there are less photos and i feel confused about what to buy and at the end not even buying stuff because
1) i already have too much lego and don't want to make my house look like Chris Chan house
2) hype dies and i think i will be just fine if i don't buy it
>>
>>
>>11679958
>now there are less photos
I feel like this is a 4chan-wide issue.
I frequent more boards than just this one and the amount of anons posting their own pics of stuff these days is so absurdly low and it doesn't even make fucking sense because literally everyone has a smartphone these days.
You'd have people overly-describing something in their post, or talking about something they bought, and 90% of the time I have to remind them that this is an image board and that they should post a fucking image.
>>
>>11679979
Maybe they are scared to post pics of their items or house because they might be tracked? There are nutjobs here if you didn't know. Like the sonic anon with his gf pics, he was stupid to post them here.

It has a ton of minifigures not from LKC. The forest hideout has extra pieces to expand its size, a tan BURP on the side of the forest hideout plus plates to give ground more room and space behind the tree house if turned around, as well as a single tree and bush mold (on front not shown). Basically everything highlighted in red except the two trees I marked out in blue.
Also the tiny raft in the center of original pic was just taken from ny scary pirate island GWP a year or two ago. Everything else is built purely from LKC though, and the extras I added are very minimal to the overall.
Turning it into a full kingdom made LKC go from giant dust collector into super playable full world

for real...
I remember posting ALL THE TIME my lego photos and i kid you not - i was actually using my dad's photo-camera becuase my Samsung smartphone had a shitty camera that was bad for capturing tiny objects like Lego minifigures...
So i was
1) taking photos
2) taking miniSD-card out of camera
3) inserting miniSD-card in a card-reader
4) opening minisd-disc on my PC
5) opening my le-ebin-minifigure-photo
6) resizing photo so it would fit better for web-opening
7) uploading it
Now every smartphone is good for taking macro-photos...but....what the fuck....why are we not posting ANYTHING
WHY?!
PS:
I think zoomers are just afraid of being called names/being cancelled or something so they avoid posting anything online.

Lego will never make more soulfull sets than Mega did with Pokemon.
The whole motion gimmick and motion brick was pure genius, much better ides to make sets feel alive than smart bricks ever will. If lego were smart they'd do something like the motion bricks and add sound bricks and light bricks they made.

So the only (You)s I get would be people asking the weather in Australia or calling me a faggot for owning an iPhone because of the image format. Not that I took offense it just meant it was more likely to cause a discussion about iPhones than what was in the image.

That Mega Bloks Running Pikachu set will become a legend, forever-compared to Lego
if Lego was smart (heh) they would corporate-espionage figure out who at Mattel designed that set, and offer them a more-money job. (that's called "head-hunting")
then, that designer would become a legend, and Lego could bank money off of the connection (pun!)

Help an oldfag out here. I recently ordered some shit from Pick-a-Brick. The package arrived but a good chunk of the stuff I ordered wasn't there. The printout they included didn't show the missing items either. Do they send it in waves? Is it common for them just skip a bunch of stuff to make you order it again?
I should mention it spent over a week sifting through the offered parts. I would pick stuff, then drop some because of others I would find. Is it possible when I placed my order a bunch of stuff was out of stock and is back in stock now?

I genuinely have no idea and I am kind of in the same boat. I have been waiting on an order I placed in November that never shipped and support says it hasn't shipped because "most of it is backordered." I placed another order in December which was missing pieces, which were still listed on the invoice so different from your situation, and when I contacted support again they said those parts were on backorder. I don't understand why they held one entire order for some backordered parts but then partially shipped another order just without the parts that are backordered. I also received another customer's order in the mail which confused me further and made me fear that they did ship my order but just to someone else. Stuff changes from in to out of stock or from bestseller to standard frequently on PAB and I don't think they consistently update the website so it's hard to tell what might be backordered.

>>11680233
>>11680249
Lego isn’t good about communicating how the
>best seller
>standard
Are different. You will get “Bestseller” stuff (probably half your order) in a reasonable amount of time. This is local shipping generally. Your “Standard” section of your order will arrive later. Anywhere between 1-4 months. It’s an extremely unreasonable timeframe to the point where I wouldn’t be surprised if there are only two lego employees filling orders in a warehouse in Denmark for the entire world. But it is the “normal” for Lego. And it’s hard to track because you will only get tracking for your Bestseller stuff. If you want an update on your standard parts shipping from Denmark, you need to contact support and they can give you tracking information that isn’t displayed properly on the site itself.
>>
>>11680285
These are fine for what they are but I don’t recommend them if you are an adult with a specific thing in mind. You’re going to get a lot of parts and colors you will never use. If you want bricks, the best parts packs are Minecraft each and every time. Only downside is you’re stuck with Minecraft minifigures but that’s really not a big deal
>>
>>11679615
I know retards say shit like this or that's it's a Ubislop title but BotW is actually good. Skyrim is genuinely one of the worst games Bethesda has made but it's basically baby's first "RPG" (it's just an action game with leveling) since most people alive today started playing games on the 360/PS3/PS4.
>>
>>
>>11680285
I bought this just a few days ago. You can build the front of a castle and it comes with a couple of masonry bricks but like all these big totes the pieces included will barely fill 1/3rd of it and the piece variety is stretched over so many colors that you won't be able to build anything that looks consistently one color. I wish LEGO would just sell bags of bricks in one color with the basic pieces but I suppose the ugly and girly colors wouldn't sell as well.

Just show me what they'll be doing for May the 4th. I want some more OT sets that don't have Smart brick shit.

these little sets sound like exact right sets.
It seems that we only got AFOL-slop at the start of this year
and during summer we will get actually GOOD normal pokemon sets?
I fucking wish. i hope!
Imagine if we not only gonna get cool pokemon sets but it will continue further with 2027 and 2028...

Pokémon is now a mainstay, evergreen license, like Star Wars and Harry Potter.
Jangbricks said that LEGO wanted to release the big, expensive sets first to target AFOLs, because if they released the cheaper sets first, interest would spread and the larger sets wouldn’t feel as novel later on.

Pokemon is already slop in and of itself. Even the people who were like 10 in the 90's are now in their 40s, so acting like its some young kid's property now is a joke. Its exactly the same as shit like SW and Marvel; another franchise where 30s and 40s-somethings desperately try to cling to their childhood, and a bunch of hobby "investors" try to gauge which items will be the most valuable after they go out of stock and they can flip immediately and which ones will be a long hold to scalp down the line.

-Lego makes the Pokemon large and brick-built
-not even in scale with each other
-there should be no reason you can't MOC any of them!
-cool? yeah, it inspires creativity, I guess
-b-but Lego carefully PRINTS eyes and stuff on slope bricks
-I can't do that!
-now, it's IMPOSSIBLE to MOC you own Lego Pokemon
-I mean, you still could, kind of, but they will no longer match what Lego did, so your MOC Pokemon will suck compared to a real Lego Pokemon set

I got one too and this guy is right. If you want basic bricks in a few colours, get a 2nd hand bulk lot with some 90s era bricks. For grey specifically, you could try Bricklink but it will cost you a bit more. Panel pieces are more cost effective though, eg picrel or the castle window ones.

Sometimes when I'm all alone at home, I'll take all my 2x4 red lego bricks and put them in the kitchen sink, fill it up with water and take a single minifig. The Emmet one from the cmf. I'll put him in the center and pull the plug. I have a big sink so it takes a while for the whirpool to lead all the water down the pipes. When it forms and the bricks start moving, I watch my reflection in the water and as the brics periodically float in the way I think about how I'm actually a happy, content, satisfied and immortal Lego minifigure. I do this until emmet finally pops into my vision and creeps up to the center. I gaze right at his face until the water dissipates entirely from the sink. Leaving only emmet and the sea of red 2x4s. I repeat this for at least an hour or until someone comes home.

I'm aware of the difference between bestseller and standard. The order that I am waiting on that I placed in November was mostly bestseller with a smaller standard component. I got the standard parts 4 weeks after ordering, but I still have not seen the bestseller parts ship. It still makes no sense to me why the entire order is delayed due to some backordered parts (I am assuming they mean the black falcon knights torso and legs I ordered that now show as out of stock) while the other order shipped without the backordered parts included.

So I might be the only one here but I find it fascinating how LEGO changed their release strategy. I am a very old LEGO fan at this point and I can say I saw LEGO go from releases once a year to two waves, winter in January and summer in June, to nowadays where we have multiple waves. We have winter in January, spring in March, sometimes a May wave, then June, July, and August get many different releases. Now we also have September, October, and November. It is quite crazy how many waves per year we get.
I like how LEGO spreads out themes because they produce so much and have so many themes and sets, and release and retirement dates keep getting shorter and shorter. Back in my day, when a set released it had like three or five years of shelf life until retirement, and those were not AFOL slop like we have today with Adults Welcome 18 plus sets. No, we had kids playsets that would be in production for years and you could save up for them.
Now those windows are so short. Many sets have like six months or one year of shelf life before retiring and new things come out, meanwhile AFOL slop has like three or five to ten years depending on how much demand there is for that set.
Well, what do you think? Should LEGO make less sets?

How can anyone still defend LEGO at this point? It is time to stop excusing their behavior and start supporting other brands. Could a total boycott of LEGO products actually work? More importantly, how can we make it effective? How can we reach a wider audience and build enough momentum to force real change?

I don't care about megabloks and I do not care about pokemon.
I will say though that lego has gone backwards in a lot of departments, such as brick quality, the same colors miss-matching, etc.
And stuff like removing boob-cleavage lines (cannot believe I have to talk about this) and shoehorning niggers and minorities everywhere.
Every time I see a remotely cool speed champion it's accompanied by a womanoid minifig 90% of the time. Like bitch what percentage of women actually own a fucking Ferrari?
I'm almost certain that lego is aware of this because why would they suddenly completely hide the included minifig EVERYWHERE on the box and only have it show at the front behind barely translucent glass.
Pic-related was gifted to me and of-fucking-course you know what they stuffed in their.

It's been deduced/proved/admitted by Lego that they purposefully launched with dumb expensive sets for maximum milking of the fans
much like the Star Trek $400 Enterprise-D, if it's YOUR ONLY OPTION, you are "forced" (heh, that's the milking part) to spend a lot more than you wanted.
not only is there science sales data, but it's easy common sense logic to see how if somebody wanted [Lego Pokemon! at last!] and there was a $20 set, they would buy that, instead of a $60 minimum, because that's the cheapest option.
it's Pikachu. there's no way Lego will NOT have a future set with a much-lower price than $200. but right now if there was a $40 smaller Pikachu, the $200 set wouldn't sell, AT ALL. people would just laugh at it. instead, right now, it will sell MILLIONS
it's odd to say "don't blame Lego" because they are a company trying to make money. you can blame the public for letting them get away with it

those are "car babes" have you ever been to an Auto Show? with the hot chicks next to the cars? Lego gives them helmets only because they need to, to show kids racers follow safety laws. put that girl in the passenger seat and have YOUR MINIFIG drive! (most of them are two-seats)
>>11681054
>And stuff like removing boob-cleavage lines (cannot believe I have to talk about this)
it seems like boob lines are making a comeback, I think kids were genuinely confused. sometimes the play test kids give simple good advice. other than that, the car logos need to be full on display and the boob lines would get in the way. it's easy enough to swap the torso for the babe, and you could use that cool Ferrari shirt on you dude character since it didn't have the female chest pattern
>>11681054
>why would they suddenly completely hide the included minifig EVERYWHERE on the box
If Lego showed the girl figure next to the car, they would get blasted by social media for copying the "hot girl next to car" thing that the Auto Show does. it's secretly based that Lego constantly puts those girls in the Speed Champions sets!
