If the thread has a certain amount of images left I kill it by posting old OP images to 1. reshow off older work and 2. to control when the thread dies so I can make a new one while I have some spare time to do so. This sort of shape would work on those wings without making them look totally neutered if all you're doing is cutting them. Those neca wings are really weird, but think it's a better shape at least. The bone structure doesn't give you much to work with, sadly.
