I think they're a small indie company that got excited over a goodsmile partnership, jumped into the deep end, and went straight into a production schedule that's fine for a big experienced company but way too fast for them. Especially with having to fix things constantly. They really need to slow down, put everything on hold, and work out their problems before any other figures come out.

This shit has definitely made me appreciate the QC checks and subsequent delays from other lines. Even though it can be frustrating, at least I don't have to deal with shit like this from them.

It depends on your distributor. I mainly use gundamit and as long as I submit pictures and explain clearly to aftersales, they have no issue contacting the manufacturer for replacement parts amd shipping them out to me for free. Sometimes the manufacturer doesn't have extra parts for something, is out of the part, or is unreachable or takes forever. But usually the seller can help you out, so try it.
If you bought from a store on Ali or something, it depends on the individual and their policies, I guess.

My experience: if a figure has non-serious issues, I just take the refund as a bonus/credit to buy other stuff. Shipping back to China is a hassle and takes too long. When my Ryza Figma arrived with a color transfer spot, I disputed it for a partial refund. The seller got salty, but they eventually gave in after two days and I got 20% back.
You just need send pics and video of the product.
Even if the seller dont respond or refuse Ali will give the refund fast.

Just about every figure sold by western companies has "product and colors may vary" on the box.
Shit breaking is pretty bad though. The heels it seems they compensated for the bending plastic used on Leoni with a more rigid plastic that of course is more brittle. The best way to avoid this breakage would be to not pack the figures with the stiletto feet attached and pack them in a baggie or something.

I will say, the hip engineering is actual genius. Having the separate armatures for each hip joint which plug into a socket which is itself on a balljoint at the spine is incredible and works really well.
