I like the GI Joe characters for head sculpts but almost all their females have short hair, except for Cover Girl (?) - the one they always dress sexually and who is allowed to have long hair. I grabbed one of her heads as a good, adult Lana Lang.

The problem is finding a base female body that's not in a superhero suit or isn't something that looks like a dress but has so much other shit going on that it's not a plausible civilian attire. The Black Series females are often too short, too.

What's a shiny, all one color McFart that has no texture and ideally is all one color similar to this, where the sticker/emblem on his chest and arm, plus any other batcrap can be easily removed, the bat-head tossed to the fodder bin.

So all your left with is a seamless shiny body in one color? Sadly, while the regular Black version of this is cheap, this blue one isn't. And it doesn't have to be blue, it just needs to be shiny, no texture, and easy to customize.

I don't want Jinx in particular, I wanted her (and or the ML Quake) as possible short haired Lois Lane's. I took a Baroness off of someone else but it must be an old one, because even on the Black Widow body buck I am testing the female heads on, she looks small.
And yeah, it must be Scartlett - sorry I don't really know Joe's even though I saw all two (three?) movies. But I took both the long hair and pony tail. One of those is going to be my Lana Lang once I get a body. I'd love to find one in overalls for a Smallville scene and use that pony tail version. But I'm prepared to go with the Animated Series/Comic book 'fashion designer/Lex Corp CEO' mogul version and put her in a business suit if that's what I end up with.
PICREL is what I ended up with (plus more not shown, like the Jinx from the #124 box and some other male ML, WWE/AEW and Joe heads).
If the Valkryries are who I think or Zaranna, some of them are way overpriced for random females or the heads are few and far between and I really don't want to pay postage for just one effing head.
The only thing I need now is an attractive Asian female to be Mercy (Lex's PA) - ideally with glasses (although I now have spare glasses having bought a bunch of clearance AEW figures for $2.99 each just for the glasses).
I've literally spent $200+ just in fodder parts in the last three weeks, but that includes heads, bodies, weapons, kryptonite, lab coats, swords and a few other things that will all be fun once I have everything I want.

It must be something older? The Dark Avengers has great legs but the top still is too close to spandex or at best, a workout uniform once I made it all one color, to work. The 85th has arms that would be great as gloved hands for a night out dress, but otherwise same problem. Great head though, if I was talented enough to get that framed domino mask off and match skin flesh tones, I might pick it up for that, but I know I'm not.

Such a dearth of DCMV figure releases that people are now talking about other lines. Is this what McFarlane Toys has chosen?

Yeah, I sat on it for a few weeks. Then I just remembered that I thought that era of McFarlane toys was pretty good, especially the diorama leaning "figures". I thought the Elizabeth Bathory figure was great looking when it came out, as far as actual action figures there's a shadowhawk that looks good from the earlier days of McFarlane that I'd like to grab. I'm a glutton for cheesey 90s books so I might even get a few young blood figures later on, I'm just going through the early figures he's done.

I rarely see Cassandra Cain, Captain Carrot or Cyborg Superman mentioned here. I think Cassandra is a over looked figure.
It's hard to answer when the figures share so many pieces so not many of the figures are unique outside of the megafigs.

I have both Cassandra and Cyborg Superman (both molds).

Cassandra is nice, especially with the wired cape, but there's a couple of disappointing things. In various looks she had claw-like gloves and the figure being reused doesn't have that. The claws I far would've preferred to the generic reused batarang and grapnel gun. Steph is a better modification of that mold of that Batgirl body buck since it adds more unique parts and the grabbing hands aren't as out of place for Steph. I think Cassandra and Steph were already coming out at a time when this gen was fed up with not being able to get figures, so makes sense they are not mentioned much.

Cyborg Superman N52 looks pretty bad if you don't customize him to look like the prototype images that came out. After an extensive custom job he can look great. I didn't risk painting the diaper though as hobby paints might crack more easily on it. Could've done more with adding metal to the feet but I didn't notice any paint on them on the proto images so I didn't bother. I think he didn't get mentioned much just because he isn't a classic look.

A lot of people mentioned the Rise of the Supermen and the Target Cyborg Superman duo a ways back here as they were near impossible to get. So there was a lot of people angry about that, justifiably.
