I really don't get why people keep spouting shit about PVP when the game has barely any at all, most of this "pvp" is actually PK not PVP.
PVP is like tarkov or arena breakout where people is ready to kill each other and work with such in mind, and where the game is balanced based with pvp in mind, has skill or elo/ranked matchmaking and etc.

I've been playing on friendly servers, because I am trying to get some arc loot. Very chill and also lots of fun, raiders helping each other out.
Today I was on Dam Battlegrounds near the Pipeline Tower, when I hear a player greeting another player and then getting instantly gunned down.
I am just above this two players and the rat didn't notice me, so I waited for him to come and loot the downed guy, who was in my sights. The rat comes and I hit him with the ferro straight in the head, but unfortunately missed the second shot, because I hit a damn railing. The downed guy bleeds out, but I proceed to wait for 3 minutes, because I know that the rat will want to check out his kill. This time I was in a better position, so both of my shots land and the rat dies.
Total rat death bros, felt good, worth it, even if I get placed to more aggressive servers now.

Are trios and solos separated? I kill everyone on sight in trios but use solo for looting only.

Buried city is my go-to. Hit the galleria first and if it's already done extract. After that, hit the park next to it and then near the standing water next to the big apartments. After those are done, just go around the edge of the map. Use a map and go to the spawns for mullein and agave if you aren't, it's pretty much required.

I already ran out of geiger counters. It seems people really want them.

How do you guys do it? I've seen a lot of post on various Arc Raider subreddits where people laugh off/have a funning one-liner ready to go when getting shot and knocked out by other players.

I know fighting each other as well as the Arcs is the main feature of the game but I've never drawn my weapon on another player. I do my best to help people I see that are crawling or take hits. I carry defibs, shield rechargers and lots of healing. I'm active on voice and ask if people need heals. I offer any stacks of resupply stuff that I find scavenging. I know I'm preaching to a choir about this stuff but...

It always pisses me off that even when I help people or keep a train/air shaft or hatch open for others to have a quick exfil without waiting, I get the shit kicked out of me. I got knocked 3 matches in a row. I lost the only snap hook I had in the first and got demolished when I tried to go find a blueprint to craft another one. Literally someone gatekeeping the Water Treatment locked room during the electromagnetic storm in the dam when they didn't have a key. I know it's supposed to happen in the game but every time it gets to me.

Thing is, if you play the game where you are not the aggressor and just klill people in self defense, you are gonna get the best experience (the one you actually need, not the one you think you want) because it's gonna put you in mixed lobbies, where you get the excitement of being in constant danger potentially but also a chance you'll be just fine.
