LR plesioth in FU is harder than any 9* in wilds, this monster clearly was not playtested at all. considering daymio is easier than literally every other large monster before it the difficulty spike to plesioth is insane

-Gravios has armor you need to break in order to get better MV on the parts the armor protects
-Break a wing and whenever it flies it falls. Break its back and it will not follow up its laser attack with a gas attack (Mounting Gravios with its back armor broken will target the belly instead as well). Break its belly and that becomes a weak point. Break its legs and it immediately falls over and trips easier as well. Also it takes less sharpness to cut them and whenever it does its jump attack there is more recovery. Break its face and that becomes a weak point. Cut its tail and it loses range with its tail attacks
-Its jump attack has tremor and can be done even if you are facing its back
-Has a fast starting charge attack so be careful being in front of him
-Need Guard Up to block any gas attacks. Gravios will do the gas attacks if you are under its body. You should be safe if you are near its wing or tail tip, so attack those parts
-Gravios can fire a straight laser or always sweep it from your right to your left. The forward laser is quicker to finish and is always accompanied by a gas attack (unless you break Gravios' back). Both lasers are unblockable.
-Gravios can step back twice and stand upright before rolling over to you. Dodge back twice and attack or hug close to the forward facing foot until it rolls past you
-If Gravios starts walking towards you it will do a 180 degree tail attack twice once it gets in range of you

I'm having a hard time decrypting your gogma weapon's focus and reinforcement bonuses. How tf did you manage to have such small amount of sharpness and raw? You're gonna drop to green within 2 minutes even with MT. You need a sharpness boost EX on there at the very least.

I'm guessing you are using a rare 8 MT charm, with focus/fire, pp/fire, and CritEle/fire deco. Focus 3 is you trying to be a smartass to fill out the last fire attack, but sadly it doesn't contribute to your rotation in any meaningful way. Crit Ele is not that great for DB at the moment, it is worse than Crit Boost or Crit eye. Power Prolonger 3 is good on paper but in reality it doesn't help with your blue mode uptime that much since you should perfect dodge very often to keep up the buff anyway (yes even in multi), and they can only be extended 3 times before falling off anyway. My recommendation is Fire/CritEle, CE3, CB3, and CB1 on your R8 charm.

You don't need it. Defense Boost 7 is not going to turn a 2 shot into 3 shot, nor one shot into 2. If anything, it combined with Divine Blessing and Super Recovery will give you a false sense of security where you feel safe playing at half health but ended up getting carted by a medium-sized 9* attack. Speed Eating and Evade Extender are much more important comfy skills. For DB, Constitution, Marathon Runner, and Stamina Surge are also good comfy skills to have instead of recovery speed/recovery up tbqh.

How do you guys feel about the investigations vs whatever it was they used in World for random reward quests?

I liked world more with the gold, silver, bronze, or tempered boxes (just wish that there was a chance to get some bonus metal box rewards in tempered quests, too). I don't like that in Wilds, you just get guaranteed rare materials in the quest rewards.

I play Wilds on PS5 with a controller.

Came back to finish wilds and I still can't get over how much worse SA feels even though it's been years since I played world SA. In world it felt like you had to actually juggle your time between sword and axe to maintain dps. In this game you just sit in sword mode and they give you switch gauge while you are in sword mode for some reason and totally break the whole dynamic of the two modes and the meter.

let's be honest MonHun should have remained a playstation exclusive

Sword mode has always been the better damaging mode. In base world you just have to find a ledge to do the fast aerial reload. Not to mention iceborne made SA into an one trick pony. Only valor SA did the switching part of the switch axe justice, risebreak a bit less so
