You can open books by grabbing them but using SAM, or Object Manipulation mod resets them to their default closed state which makes things really annoying for posing.

I have a weird bug during SL scenes.
Whenever I get close to two NPCs fucking and I put my crosshair directly onto them the game starts to drop FPS like crazy to the point of going into a fullstop.
But when I do the same with tfc (so camera detached from my character) everything is fine and I have no frame drops.
Anyone know what the cause could be?

First you need a body replacer. I'm going to assume you've downloaded 3BA. The only thing that matters while installing 3BA is whether you choose SMP only or CBPC physics. SMP costs more in performance but looks better in motion. After that download FSMP (Faster HDT-SMP) and CBPC. Once you've got those two installed you need to find a physics preset. If you want something that doesn't use SMP, search Zeetbr on nexus and download his CBPC preset. If you want something that looks very good in motion and comes with several different presets, download Softbody. It will cost you more in performance. Softbody's installation is more involved than just downloading a physics preset though, there's a guide on its mod page.

I'm looking for recommendations for mods that fit the following needs but am concerned about poorly implemented scripts in the case of the former. Please excuse me if I'm misunderstanding their performance impact.
-Disease addons that overhaul vanilla ones, add new ones and/or add depth to the system as a whole, without adding hunger/cold management
-Some way to leverage the above for use in combat, going beyond just a survival or debuff system
-1h + Shield OAR animations
-Small, high quality unique items, replacers welcome too. Johnskyrim, ShinglesCat and 4thUnknown are good examples.

I use HSF immersive diseases. I like it. It's literally just overlays which sometimes has issues with neck seams or hand seams, especially if it tries to apply more than one or two a rando npc.
I honestly prefer just using Last Seed's diseases. It does exactly what I need it to and nothing more or less. I've been wanting to try diseases remastered though but i'm not sure I want to disable a feature in one mod to enable a feature in another mod that does pretty much the exact same thing but more configurable.

Reasonable inference. Anyone who sucks dick or is otherwise "for the cause" and has any sort of position of visibility and control over traffic and culture is valuable to them, same as low level employees who nevertheless have access to your whole life with just a few scraps of info. A guy working the desk at your local hospital can look you up on passport and get your name, address, ssn, dob, employment history, credit history, etc., all with just a small seed of info you gave to a hundred places online and half remember half of them.

It's old as dirt and does nothing that other mods don't do. Like if you want a cut village, there's a guy who makes excellent ones. If you want Aela to lead you through that dungeon both EaS and AYoP have that implemented. Is anbeegod improving? His new mod for Senna actually sounds pretty damn good, I got curious and checked out some more of his recent mods afterward. His Faralda and Illia also seem surprisingly good.
His early mods did not fit the tone of the game very well, it doesn't help that he was doing youngeagerfemale characters which I think is uniquely bad when AI generated for some reason. The Senna voice is basically flawless which is what, female sultry or something?

Fair point, that's a common issue with games that have upscaling or TAA. You could play a higher resolution to make TAA/upscaling less bad if your PC can handle it. 4k with DLSS at 50% or 67% (Performance 1080p, Balanced 1440p respectively) will look a lot better than a raw 1080p image, and especially if the 1080p image also has DLSS/TAA enabled.

It might be, I did explore the worldspace a little. The one city is kinda neat, but then the other ones are let downs. I don't even know if it has any custom creatures to fight in the wild. I would like to give it a try someday but as it stands it's bug report section keeps growing. I joined it's discord but haven't checked to see if they're even working on the bugs.

Really cool man, especially if you made this in the space of just one evening. I agree that n1->n2 is odd; it looks too fast and more like something I would expect to see only from a rapier. The moveset overall seems like something that befits lightweight and thin longswords but not exclusively rapiers or shortswords. Duelist, rogue, swashbuckler rather than fighter or warrior. One issue I observed is that the forward steps don't match with the side on, sword in front stance and the sword ends up clipping through the target. It seems counterintuitive that a reach-based stance would want to move in, but I get it for flashy power attacks. I also think the transition from the end of each animation to the idle animation doesn't look natural.
This is just using the normal Steel Sword with (I think) better shaped weapons.

I have lore question about Nymics.
Do I understand it correctly, that every time you use scroll, or your learned spell, you need to know creature nymic, and include it in incantation? Or is the spell written in scroll already having one? If yes, then every time I try to summon daedra, there is a chance that it won't show up, because now is fighting for someone else?
Or is it that only when you learn the spell you actually learn its true name and it's only known to you?

I think knowing a summon spell is just sort of like having a contract where the daedra just agrees to come when you call it. I think nymics are probably somewhat beyond the ken of mortals, for the most part, and would reflect a much deeper level of control and understanding of the daedra.

In fairness, I really do enjoy it. Up until this playthrough, I had never really used followers in Skyrim but found myself really enjoying the DragDog vibes I was getting playing with a party.
I think it's just a limitation of the game that followers aren't able to tell when they weren't actually with the PC for a given quest so you run into this situation.

i had two reasons for stripping the initial strike of KEI's empty hand and causing the jankiness
the first is that i really like movesets that initiate with a stab. they're good for covering distance and probing, keeping you at a safe distance if your offense doesn't pan out
the second is that KEI's first animation had shit potential for flowing into power attacks from the one handed light greatsword moveset. if you're familiar with any good stabbing animations where the right hand ends up at the left side, shoot. i've been wracking my head for anything that might fit.
