>They're not going to crossover with other devs the same reason Total War 40k hasn't crossed over to Dawn of War 4 and Space Marine 2
all of those will happen tho
Battlesector and Gladius shill each other all the time
Hell I remember there was some huge SoB collab between those two and Inquisitor Martyr when all of them added Bolter Bitches at this same time
Rogue Trader and Darktide had collab recently
Vermintide is referenced in TWW on a number of occasions
Rogue Trader just got a steam bundle with Darkest Dungeon for a Darkest Grimdark meme. Clearly GW doesn't care in this regard at least.
Collabs between TW:40k, DoW4 and Space Marine 2 (or 3) have a stupid amount of sense and will happen. BR being redacted chapter still makes most sense.

Oh to be clear I'm also on a 3080ti, which already weren't the best for dissipating heat. That was shit ironed out with the 40 and 50 series which all run way cooler. 30 series was that obnoxious generation leap where all the experimental shit didn't get ironed out.

I get ya. I'm running a 5090 partner model so it's got a very decent cooling. In SM2 it doesn't go beyond 60 and it usually oscillates around 54 degrees. Previously I was using 3080Ti (a very good card to say the least, btw) but I can't recall it running this high, then again I didn't go all autism on system monitoring at the time. You could try undervolting it though. You can get a tremendous temp improvements at very negligible, if any, performance drops. That's what I did with my current GPU anyway.

>>556122136
Way ahead of you on the underclocking. Honestly it may just be the brand of 3080ti I got, specifically the MSI Ventus version. I've noticed people with different versions from other brands in less ventilated cases than mine are pulling better temps, but this thing was insanely cheap when I got it. Tried everything in regards to system tweaking and fan curves, 70ish degrees is the best I can manage, which is still fine if not the outright best, these cards don't suffer thermal throttling until 85 degrees.
>>
>>556122136
Oh my fucking God, in a roundabout way, thank you.
I somehow fucked up my MSI Afterburner curve so the GPU was only spinning at 100% when at 90 degrees, not 80. I've literally just dropped 10 whole degrees in temps, Jesus Christ.
>>
>>556122421
You can't go wrong with MSI. Their GPU division does a solid work on making the hardware last long. And you're right on thermal throttling, so there's enough headroom there as well.
>Way ahead of you on the underclocking
Underclocking is useful too, but you're looking to limit the amount of power the card draws and that's where undervolting comes into play. The two can get mixed up easily.
>underclocking
You lower the clock speed of the GPU which can have a direct impact on performance, fewer cycles per second = less work done per second etc. Actually had its uses with crypto mining way back.
>undervolting
Lower voltage supplied to the GPU while keeping the same (or similar) clock speeds. With 30 to 50 series cards usually run at higher voltage then they need so there's potential to drop it. You get noticeable temp drops and the performance stays the same. Often times it can improve but it depends on a game.
You probably knew this, but I figured I mention it. Forgive me Brother, the autism kicked in and I needed to get it out of my system. I hope you won't hold it against me.

With all the class's melee bonuses combined you can hit +180% damage and huge AoEs. The trick is to only ever use stomps and nothing else.
Not going to say it's optimal, but it lets you handle any minoris enemy setup and a significant number of majoris enemies with little effort and zero ammo expenditure. It doesn't take that many stomps to incapacitate a warrior and you're putting out good stagger on everything around you rapidly.

Hello Brothers! I'm updating the prestige chart with Telorian's perks. Let me know which ones for each category:
>First pick (most useful one, even if it's subjective)
>Recommended
>Not recommended
>YMMV=Your mileage may vary (situational or play style dependent)
Saber might do some changes before live, but it's something to get the new chart going. Also, I'll do the updated Assault's one as well after that.
>>
>>
>>
>>556157576
>Chained Headshots
Works in tandem with the Occulus bolt carbine which is his best gun, because the final weapon perk that increases all damage by 20% when using a class ability also boosts the damage of servo-gun. So 15% bonus headshot damage on this gun is meaty.
>Defensive Stance
Because the class has little to zero damage reduction.
>Furious Gun Strike
Bugged but hypothetically strong because it's a free 25% damage boost that's easy to time and manage. Parry > Light > Gun Strike > AOE nuke for collectively over 120% bonus damage with this and various other perks.
>Stimm Boost
Because none of the other perks matter.
>>
>>556157576
Just looking at the other classes' best perks it's probably gonna be something like...
Stimm Boost 1st pick for the extra bit of survivability since techie is squishy.
Chained Headshot for better ttk on the bolters
Defensive Stance since it's melee focused and squishy like Tac and Ass.
And then I can see Furious Gunstrike being great because Omni, Paxe, and Psword all generate gunstrikes for free on Minoris and the value you can get off even parry gunstrikes would be pretty substantial too. Also Techie's gunstrikes are free so...
Everything else seems mid to me.

I also have a fairly cheap fdm printer, have done 20 or so battlefleet gothic models so far plus a couple of generic minis, since I've already got old models for my necron and sm armies, though I may eventually print some cataphractii terminators since I always wanted those.
>>
>>556111727
The only thing I fear is the anchor arms version's flailing arms attack because I parry the first hit and immediately eat shit to him and the other three spawn in the stack regardless of hyperarmor. Couple that with the same version's angry stomping hype up taunt that looks like the attack and I've just gotten into the habit of backing away from spawn blobs just to cope.

0.4 on the right side, those were the models I did at the beginning, testing shit out etc, the left side was done with 0.2, if I were to re-do the imperial light cruisers/battlecruisers with a 0.2 would look quite a bit better as well, still they look fine enough, they are about the same/better than the original bfg models so I'm pretty happy about it.

You can meme about reddit all you want but chaos spawn are genuinely bad design. Every enemy operates in a similar fashion, with a very small number of egregious attack animations. Chaos spawn completely break the animation consistency and almost always come in packs of 4.
CS need to either be buffed slightly, and reduced to 1-2 spawns max and become an extremis, or they need to be fucking neutered. The only nid unit remotely comparable are biovores and they aren't even half as annoying, despite having their own niggardly horseshit issues.
>>
>>
>>556170813
It really depends on what you want to print and not that I really know what I'm doing but here's a few vids showing great results and how to achieve them with a 0.4, also depends on what you want to print, strictly for warhammer minis you probably want to do it in 0.2 but you could consider doing the larger parts in batch with a 0.4 and then the smaller parts or parts with fine details in another batch with a 0.2.

Genuine skill issue if you can’t handle 4, they only become a “bad design game problem” when there’s 6 or more and they turn into a blender that’s impossible to deal with.
Having 3 forms all with different movesets is a good thing. Delayed attacks are fine, just move the blue indicator to the end of it to be consistent.

>Having 3 forms all with different movesets is a good thing.
Damn. Why not 5 different movesets or 7? I suppose it would take too much time to animate but shit can you imagine the excitement you'd get by having to learn each one and react to a mob of chaos spawn?
Wow, really an enlightened visted us!
>>
>>556176801
>6 or more and they turn into a blender that’s impossible to deal with
Skill issue. When 12 CS jump you that's when it becomes impossible. There's someone out there to whom your "impossibility" is just an inconvenience. Why do you drag this out like that?
>inb4 just learn the timings and practice scrub
This isn't a task anyone's supposed to be doing and this isn't E-Sports League debate on min-maxing shit out to achieve that 0.0001% result available only to a handful of players with enough time on their hands. It's a genuine design flaw that's made its way into the game because a person in charge thinks you have to be miserable in order for the game to be challenging and difficult. It's one of the major issues this game has - lead dev's mindset on gameplay.

> chained headshots
bold of you to think im accurate enough for that. On paper i like the idea of revive surge, might be good for harder difficulties.
Also the techmarine coming out just pisses me off that they have done NOTHING with horde mode.
>>
>>556182098
>On paper i like the idea of revive surge, might be good for harder difficulties
It won't be. Not even for flavour or preference. It's basically unusably bad and might as well be a blank perk.
Putting aside how many times you might be reviving people across a mission, each trigger of that ability if fully utilized refunds about 1.5 seconds of total cooldown for each player. That's absolutely nothing, and once you consider that between how many times you're expected to need ressing and that you might not have your ability on cooldown during that window you would probably see an average of something like 2 seconds of total cooldown refund across a mission.
I would say it could be good if it was an order of magnitude more effective and then some. At 400% I might consider it worth taking at all, at least then if you get some use out of it it'll let you send out your ability and have it back in short order.
>>
>>556182098
Reviving perk is a waste of slot desu. If they made it into 50% faster recharge, or hell even 60% it would've been competitive for how many times you revive people in a game. They'll probably rework it much like the explosion one which is a pointless perk as well. Which can actually be in "Not Recommended" section bro >>556181854
>>
>>556182762
>>556183063
shit like this is the reason i use youtube videos for my perk builds im fucking clueless on the actual technical shit.
>>
>>
>>556181854
I wanted to post this >>556183551 but it looks like I was beaten to it. Maybe someone could get *some* use out of it, but because it's only limited to you that extra percentage does nothing. Also, what's with Saber and their unexplained love for miniscule improvements that one can get from a perk? 15% here, 20% there... those are prestige perks dammit not baseline skills. Though the way they "designed" highest difficulties certainly puts that statement to a test...
>>
>>556185489
They've said they want the prestige perks to be very minor at some point, and it's a fair stance to have on it. The REAL issue is that they then have added absolutely integral picks like assault's jump invuln, must-picks like the ammo recovery perks for 3 different classes, and other perks that genuinely open up new ways of playing the game alongside those miniscule bonuses.
It's incredible how miss-matched the perks are. I'd pay money to hear the devs' deeper rationalization for the balancing and to be able to ask them questions for clarification, except I don't think these devs deserve any money at all.
>>
i want to like this game & i do like many aspects of it, but it has so many horrendous designflaws.
i can´t count the amount of times i´ve been stagger wombo combod by 2 extremis or a boss after exiting a execution animation.
the execution based perks are in conflict with each other, you have every teammate greeding for kills because perks are tied to it.
i also HEAVILY dislike that some talents/perks need you to kill enemies that are in execution state with ranged weapons to get ammo/armor. why the fuck does heavy need to press E on an extremis to get ammo, why can´t it be a gunstrike or a regular kill for fucks sake.
90% of the stratagem mods are either unfun or a mild annoyance.
i do not understand how they could fuck up this badly in so many places.
>>
>>556178845
>one of the major issues this game has - lead dev's mindset on gameplay.
This. It isn't brought up enough. Grigorenko has got a hard on whenever a part of the game makes you feel like shit. I mean it's pretty telling when in their discord chamber about a year ago he made off hand comment how he likes Dark Souls and souls-like games such as Sekiro. De gustibus non est disputandum, a man can like what he wants. Judging by the decisions the HE has to approves and how the game looks like currently (enemies compounding on you, ai director beaming you the second you leave execution animation, numerous bugs etc.) one can't shake the ominous feeling this is deliberate. It doesn't take a genius to see that.
>inb4 this isn't a power fantasy
Alright, if it isn't, then venom cannons should one shoot you without a chance to be revived and most operations at highest level shouldn't be possible to finish, while most bosses should munch us. They ain't Avatar of Khaine for crying out loud... It is a power fantasy, it's just these russians keep lying to themselves (and most tryhards) that it isn't. Newsflash, you can make a good and challenging game without fucking people up with your design choices.

Retarded devs these days won't come up with anything remotely interesting and engaging at the same time because their MAU graph has to look as higher ups intended.

No, its bad game design that they throw up fake markers and that they take a couple seconds to actually differentiate in the dark as fuck chaos levels
Its obnoxious game design that they arbitrarily delay attacks or have disgustingly disjointed hitboxes
>>
>>556225839
The only thing that truly bothers me is the "parryable" markers and sound cues. It may be skill issue but when I'm fighting rubrics and hear the parryable hissing behind me it's a 50/50 shot of either catching a tzaangor or parrying air and eating the fucking spawn from downtown a second later. That, and anything that isn't explicitly unblockable can be parried, so why are blue marker attacks so special? Sure, I'm down to learn the tells and timings for each enemy but the parryable cues are just annoying rather than helpful.
>>
>>
>>556225839
Yeah Elden Ring has broken a ton of online discourse and people’s brains in general to the point where a ton of people think delayed mechanics are an inherent bad thing. One of the many things I dislike that game for.
>>
>>556227623
it is fucking ridiculous in elden ring through purely to fuck up people who play the game the way every other souls garbage has taught them to
a 12 foot dude doing a gigantic mega overhead swing just to pause 2 feet before contact, with variable timings, is stupid just to look at
the crab spawn's charge (not the instant horn dash) having a big wind up is fine except for the parry marker coming immediately upon start up, even the claw clicks are okay its really the tentacle's shadow wind up that's horrid

That doesn't make it less cheap. When you first show up to fight him its just punishing you for doing not just the thing that won you every other fight but is also the single most reasonable action you can take
>man is doing gigantic giga swing?
>i shouldn't stand in the fucking way
But beyond that several of them have moves that don't have the delay mix up on the exact same swing animation so you're actually just guessing whether you should dodge or stand there and get crushed by a retarded giant swing.
The spawn are somewhat better because their moveset is entirely consistent: the crab claw will always have at least some delay, the tentacle charging up will always do the horizontal swing if you're close enough and the unblockable overhead if you're far
some shit in elden ring is just stupid
>hah, you know that thing i taught you to do to win every fight for half a dozen games? well fuck you sometimes now you just get fucked its not your turn to swing yet!
>>
>>556232282
I guess I wouldn’t be that harsh on it, cuz it made me do something hadn’t, learn the patterns and learn what was delayed and what wasn’t just from tells. If they didn’t do that I don’t think there would’ve been much challenge. I beat DS1-2-3-Bloodborne-Sekiro-EldenRingand my biggest complain is how big and uninteresting and boring the Elden Ring maps are.

>and my biggest complain is how big and uninteresting and boring the Elden Ring maps are.
Fucking this. The game felt like a chore and by the end I was just forcing myself to finish it so I could uninstall it.
>>
>>556237945
Yeah. But my whole point is I don’t know how you can challenge dedicated Dark Souls players without delayed attacks or moves with alternate timings. So I don’t think delayed attacks are inherently a bad thing.
>>
>>
>>556239079
>I don’t know how you can challenge dedicated Dark Souls players without delayed attacks or moves with alternate timings
>because only Dark Souls players play the game
See, this is the issue. These people are not the majority of those 12-16k people that play SM2. If that wasn't the case there would be a percentile of people complaining about shit like CS and abominable combos to fuck people over. Shit mechanics like that of CS may have their place in Sekiro or DS but SM2 ain't that. You don't see that stuff reverted or dialed down because russkies are inherently malicious towards their players and they will do the exact opposite of what's hated/liked unless put up against the wall (see cohesion in 2024 removed within a few days). It's not just Saber, other vatnik studios have that mentality too.

Scholar of the First Sin is the quintessential Soulsborne experience, and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

It had the best environment variety, a shitload of builds, tried new things with powerstancing, had by a mile the best pvp of the entire franchise especially with the bell tower covenant...
A real shame about the downgrades thanks consoles once again.
But if I say that they call me a contrarian. I'll be a contrarian if that's what it takes, better be that than a tastelet /v/edditor who parrots the echochamber's opinion.

A minor leak, but it could prove to have some weight down the line.
Pic related is used for the tarantula Turret which by the way is specced to be a single weapon. However the same module can be used with a player class, which might lead to one that's capable of dual wielding or maybe this is going to be a heroic weapon's unique perk.

For a no medkit mission low HP players should just die so they can respawn with full HP back
The game runs on normal Absolute, unless ya'll got rekt with a Neurothrope spawn in the actual control room and beyond
2026 and niggas still die before reaching the lift

if hard weekly assault and sniper are literal throw picks
an assault who can't jump after a while and a sniper who can't cloak every other minute are fucking useless
tactical and heavy can compensate by having the most shooty firepower
most bulwarks don't even use the heal banner anymore so limiting it is negligible
a vanguard who can't zip isn't useless, for once they won't eat shit at the first sign of a wave and they still have extremis heal
>>
>>
>>556307394
People refuse to pick the rapid fire small arms options on Sniper despite the fact it synergizes best with his signature equipment restoring perk. Spamming Meltas is a lot more impactful than insta-headshotting a couple of bigger enemies.
>>
A mixed Imperial Guard guardsmen + Space Marine army would just be Thousand Sons on release but no tzaangor equivalent.
Maybe you can get some assault marines who have unblockable ground pound from above attack but I'd imagine it'd be equally boring as fighting Thousand Sons.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>556309445
Not the Sniper's fault that sniping gameplay in higher difficulty is shit.
Should have reclassed it to Scout Marine; at least they'll get access to normal bolters, shotgun, heavy bolter and even rocket launchers alongside sniper weapons.

>the two chucklefucks who respawned get solo'd by the same thrope cause they cant dodge or use their ranged weapons
If bots did actual damage with their weapons in this game I would never queue with people

Why would i sit around for 40 minutes just trying to get a lobby together when i can just play the game and probably win anyways even if randoms are trash
For the hard weekly both of them went down outside the lift while there were 4 whip warriors and a lictor still on me, the game is no longer hard enough for me to need have a good team and most people don't put on their mics for the game anyways so there's no real talking or anything either
