Firefighter is kind of fun. It reminded me of doing it in San Andreas. My only problem is that it paid 70 something k, which means normally it will only pay around 35k normally, so even with the 2x bonus you can make more for that time doing plenty of other activities. I don't think it would hurt to make the current pay the default for at least that job job. Afterall, maybe unless you are brand new to the game, that 70k for a job that takes the time it does really isn't asking much. If you focused purely on them it would get very micromanagey, and while I have no problem with their presence, I wouldn't want gta to just be a wagie sim. Ultimately the poitn should be to have something there to mix up your activities, but if the pay is vastly inferior for your input, then it can do that and be lucrative simultaneously. Can't speak on the other odd jobs.

They're pretty fun like I said, I wish they paid this good so people had more reason to do them tho, there are many missions that can be really fun but the effort/payout ratio is so absurd that it's like you can do something that requires no effort and get paid more instead.
That and Rockstar should enable people to do these activities together, at least some of them, like there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to do Firefighter, Vigilante, Gruppe Sechs and Bobcat security with a friend.
Rockstar seems to never have fully decided if they wanted this to be PVP hell or a coop game, most times your friends get paid absolute pennies for helping you with a lot of trouble which also makes things difficult.

Is gta 4 multiplayer still remotely alive? I saw a video about a year ago about it and it looked really fun. At the time it apparently had a semi alive base even if small.

So doing the Crown Deluxe cargobob shot is going to be very hard if I want to do it with a mission cargobob (the one with the longer hook) because to my knowledge, the only way to get that one with the normal jetsam livery, and use it during daytime to pick up my Tampa would be to get the nightclub sale with the cargobob, and when you quit a sale it apparently has a cooldown (was it always like this????), so you can't immediately reroll a sale. I'll keep at it, the money I lose is no big deal, but it might take a while. Not to mention, it again, has to be daytime for the shot to work (and not raining), the sales have timers to. You couldn't necessarilly just sit and wait it out in a invite session. It doesn't HAVE to be perfect but I may as well try to get it close.

A couple of missions have longer cutscenes depending on which character you start as.
The one I remember off the top of my head is Trevor meeting Michael in Los Santos, if you start as Trevor you miss all the conversation that happens before he walks thru the door.
There's also the assassinations that you can make infinite money on if you wait until after the main game is over, good for if you wanna buy the $100 million dollar golf course.

Honestly, the hardest thing is just the tedium and needing to get collectibles. Make sure you use a guide and just go 1 by 1 so you don't end up with 49/50 or something and have to waste your time hunting down the one you missed.

You don't need to worry TOO much about the $$ aspect, as the only achievement tied to $$ can be cheesed by just taking the final heist money and buying/selling stocks 10-15 times. Every time you sell stocks, it goes towards your “total earned,” even if you didn't actually realize a gain on the sale.

That was me. I had her as my character on legacy (and I think still do) before I moved on to Enhanced, where I made my character look more like my xbox one character.

Every once in a while I get the desire to play from the start and when I reach around level 80-100 I get bored because they just become a gimped version of my main and I delete them.

The strangest shit happenned in the last session I was in. I was doing an NC sale and got roadblocked by merrywheather, got out to take care of them and my weapons switched. I opened the wheel to get a different weapon and nothing would happen, then I took cover, where it did give me a weapon but then started rapidly cycling through them all. I decided to cheese it to the last drop and when I needed weapons again only like 2 or 3 categories had any and they did the cylcing thing again so I couldn't shoot. Is this hacker shenanigans?

It's funny because something similar happened to me today but it was even worse (for the griefer)
