The Nine affinity story showcases that the Protos is actually pretty decently strong/fit, he is just lacking when compared to the combatants who are physically superhuman and train with special weights that use mass compression technology.
Even by the end of the story, (you) were training using one of those just fine. Meaning the Protos is probably pretty decently powerful himself if he can train using mass compression weights. Although the ones you used weren't nearly as heavy as the ones Nine trains with. Still, the Protos can lift those as well, he just can't actually train with them. Meaning that he isn't completely dwarfed by them in strength (Nine is also pretty clear one of the most physically strong combatants as well).
Considering the way she is slaying huge monsters, even if the Protos is 1/4 as strong as she is, he is still a decently strong Hunan at worst if not slightly superhuman as well.

The story part still has her shirt down and only slightly lifts it at the start.
They definitely were going to censor the lobby as you see in pic related.
But the animation could have been their original intent. After all it's going to be kinda weird if she keeps her shirt up the whole time.

Well technically he does have a power, it's just not strictly a combat power. And he is too precious to use in actual fights since he's everyone's lifeline in more than one way.
Not only will they literally die in chaos without him, but he can literally turn back time to revive them.
Also I assume Nine's "power" is just a mix of her strength and experience.
Strength wise she is probably only rivaled by some of a gorilla like Haru. And experience wise she may be the top combatant.

Are the memory fragments sets that they come with better than what you could obtain or Does the new feature basically min-max the characters?
I have some characters grinded already with solid memory fragments, and dont know if the sets ive built are better than the rebuilt stuff the new feature offers.
