You need to do true hp damage, so if an enemy unit has 400 hp and you do 1000 hp in one hit, it will only count as you doing 400 hp damage. I think it's a bug or just bad translation.

Reroll for Veronica. Most future proof character and she can wheelchair everyone. Her mechanic is pot of greed which is cool if you like to draw cards. Mei Lin is the best damage dealer in the game but every single hard content puts a limiter on her. Luke is basically a weaker Mei Lin so he gets fucked by the same mechanics as collateral damage but he has synergy with the current rate up. Orlea and Magna are niche, they got buffed but are still not useful without synergies. Hugo is a subpar extra damage dealer and many of his better teammates got nerfed. Khalipe also got buffed by a lot and her AoE and shields can carry you with minimal investment. Kayron and Rin are in the fine but nothing special realm and aren't too unique without more rolls, Rin got buffed but she still isn't amazing.
The others aren't on the starting banner and Sereniel is limited, but of you luck into Chizuru she's incredibly buffed.

Haru focuses on using her anchor shot as many times as possible. Pretty good for single target damage.

It has a copy select event but it still has the same issue where there are too many interior events so your odds of seeing it are way worse than in the default ones (the event also has this incredibly evil mechanic where it only gives you Orlea's BiS on a failed roll which is both annoying to get and means you lock yourself out of the 4th copy). It seems to have way more divine epis and transform events(not as useful now) so it seems that if you're not building Orlea, Magna or Nine it might be worth doing the better normal chaos this time?

Khalipe has celestial on her important card, which means it casts for free whenever you use a 2 cost card. Which anchor shot it.
Pair that with haru being single target focused and khalipe being aoe focused, plus khalipe shields, while harus other good partner, mika heals and gives AP, its a pretty good team.

Just give us a predetermined number of cards, and provide a puzzle that can ONLY be solved using those cards in a very specific way/order.
Those things were really fun to solve, unfortunately the trial stages here aren't quite that but they could definitely do them properly if they wanted to. It's really a shams that the rest of the stages seem to be normal battles.
We really need to start pushing for them to add puzzle stages like that. Hell, they could be a MUCH better replacement for basin as well.

Rocket Punch causes her to generate that card every turn and if she doesn't attack the turn she will use it as an Extra attack at the end.
So even if you aren't countering she will attack. And if it accumulates, the one turn you didn't attack with her she will use all the punches.

A bit more explanation: she will generate when she doesn’t attack but the card itself will have a cumulative chance every turn to activate. Those are separate effects.
Also in my case it has this extra effect because I used the Arena reinforcement on it. I got the item in the arena and at the end of the dimensional tunnel put that effect

Nine isn't a shielder. Like Amir she is a Vanguard but she barely has any shields. She is closer to a bruiser. You can spec her into being more of a shielder with her hew, but if you don't do that, she basically generates no shields.
Khalipe is a genuine shielder, she does pretty good AOE as well though.

I haven't been keeping up with the math but basically feels like we are getting enough for an SSR every rateup, factoring of course that you bother clear whatever is introduced and ongoing events like the Zero Codex one that needs a level 90 clear.

My stash is about 10k crystals deep, I rarely go below that and I got everyone. Of course I'm always spending the rate up anchors.
But I've been somewhat lucky because I skipped Yuki and Chizuru and they spooked me in the standard banner. As far as I'm concerned I'm not drowning in resources but I still manage to get most of the stuff. Maybe it's pure luck.

Her skills are around Voracity and Predation. When her Voracity stacks are up any attack dealt by someone in the team will heal. Her other cards will depend on that like causing cost reduction when Voracity is spent or producing Predation that amps up damage on Voracity.
She is a very damn good healer by default but the AP reduction rides on how you handle her epiphanies.
As it is, there is no specific team. Rather most of my teams lately vary the other two and Narja is a constant

Narja is an all arounder support that does almost everything, you need two teams for alternative game modes and she's the only other character that lets you play more cards per turn by increasing your AP/reducing card costs.
and only one of 3 supports that's actually good at healing and can turn the run around when some bullshit elite knocks off 80% your health despite doing everything you could.

If the card is triggered by counterblade, I get 1 AP for doing absolutely nothing. Otherwise yes, you get the 1 AP from fighting spirit back (once per turn).
And that armor combo means that your autoplayed Hew (ironclad) already triggers the two stacks so your next two attacks will be +20%.
It deletes stuff and you never die.
