Did you download some sort of prototype or homebrew? Because a .bin is not normal. You can try renaming the .bin to .gba, yeah. I think MGBA runs .bin files natively. I know with the DSi the proper dumps are just regular files you throw .nds to the end and they load just fine.

Best thing to do is just test games out yourself really. Most tests done online don't go past seeing if it boots up past the opening segment of a game.

Recently bought used T820 device, having blast playing ps2 games on it. Currently playing Ratchet 1 1.5x with few tweaks pretty smooth. Played Ratchet 2 & 3 when I was kid somehow miss 1. Alongside it also playing Rumble Roses 1.75x played great also. Games that i found unplayable Xenosaga 2 moving around painfully slow but combat runs fine somehow did all tweaks and hacks I could use still runs shit. Nightshade first level on fighting on plane is too much barely playable. I heard shadow of colossus would also run like shit.
