But I would argue that things are decent now. The real dark times was like 2017-2023. Undertale had overshadowed HS and everyone left it behind really.

And I feel as if the fandom is clawing to life and finding it's footing again. Maybe it will be doomed to die again. But I feel as if golden years are a cope.

The times are good if you make them good.

I was a fan many years ago. But never truly understood Homestuck

I rediscovered it last year and it was both the most fun and most agonizing webcomic experience ever.

The hardest part is getting the knowledge. Mages have an innate ability to see/sense their aspect. But unlike a seer they don't receive visions or knowledge from their aspect, they can just divine it better than other classes. If they want to know more they have to figure it out. It's the difference between being a oracle and a soothsayer.

Your power is knowing what to do with your aspect. It's strengths, it's weaknesses, where best to use it, etc.
