My biggest problem with the original 3 years is that John is taller than jade! And they are generally drawn older than they are.

But that first part specifically.

That panel was the one I had in mind the most when making this. So I'm glad people loved it. I plan to make sure to take full advantage of their clumsiness and inexperience. And their cuteness.

John is exploratory and flowing when he is intimate. Which makes up for the fact that he doesn't fufil what in his mind a man should be in these sorts of relationships, that being a big man to swoon a girl, not that he's particularly mysogonistic. (Even tho small and cute is awesome)

And Jade is reactionary and jumpy and easily excitable, but also very very protective sometime. They will not fuck for a while, and it's mostly because of John not pressing jade at all cause he doesn't want to, and because jade is (rightfully) very cautious.

So that all expresses in johh fully being comfortable giving into his whims and try to take control of the kiss, only for jade to steal it right back cause she's bigger.

Yeah there's a balence. The fluff is only good cause of the drama and the drama is only good because of the fluff.

John for the first time really will get in his head about his actions and think to hard about them. And with will mess him up. He will think about how he should act and Jade won't be receptive to it. And he will be sad

But jade will say she wants John Egbert not anyone else, and John will understand and he ok with how he is. And despite being smaller for a lot of the ship ride, he will express his more dominant side on occasion more freely.

The comics are fun and feel like early HS, the stories are fairly interesting with all the Bible inspiration in PB and all the early 2010s melancholy for living in an isolated shithole.

I think that's a character archetype people like. He's basically a toned down Eridan at least at the point of the comic where I'm at.
