There's a lot of reissues hitting. And it appears, for the most part, if the code on the bottom of the box above the UPC ends in "25" the figures have the new ball jointed hips. Nightmare 1 Freddy, 2014 Michael Myers, even the Jungle Hunter predator, just like we saw on those recent Jasons.

This is more what I am used to.
Although I have also noticed that some Targets are doing Turtle end-caps and other NECA displays in other sections, usually right after they get a lot of fresh stock. Not sure if the vendors are actually the ones coming in and doing this or the store employees are.

I'm not aure how that works. I know for the big Haulathon stuff the store does it and has a planogram set.

It's sad cause that section would be real easy to clean up if the employees cared (and didn't treat the area as hands off because it's a vendor spot).

The one thing I’ll say about here is that it’s generally fortified against any of the board schizos, for example I haven’t seen a big paragraph on warhammer crap in my time here.

Valve should give some of their licenses back to NECA to make new figures again I feel, even if some of the franchises haven’t gotten much period before, a full set of 8 for Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 would be amazing, since a lot of people still desire a Coach figure, but what would you want to see?

Oh hey, they're finally releasing the 8-bit Toony Jason! Has an axe instead of the machete, so they changed that from the initial planned figure.

I keep getting swamped with emails - maybe it's stock they are trying to clearance. I don't know enough about Super7 to know what's actually new.

My point is I'm just not sure NECA can sell something in the same price points or higher, even if the quality is better. For example, I don't think people think Tooney's are better quality than the vinyl Super7 stuff. But obviously, the NECA action figures are better quality, although I still haven't taken the one Super7 Deluxe I bought last year out of it's blister pack so maybe it's just as good as any NECA 7" figure?

The Deluxe Iron Giant, which I grabbed when it was half-off for Black Friday at Amazon.

Had walked by it at Target's NECA/Funko/Reaction/weeb anime section because $35 felt like too much for an oversized ReAction but then saw a review afterwards showing how well it articulated and regretted it.

Never saw it again at a Target and it never popped up as available to order all summer.
