Alternative is those IPs getting 0 figures. At least they are trying and not only that doing a few at a time. Everyone else do just 1 and decide after how it sold. Kaiyodo diving into new deals but with multiple projects at once is a generosity in this industry. Japan doesn't do "waves" like US toys. Of course this has always been the case for Revo. Except the few times they made IP specific lines like QB and MuvLuv, they see what sells and make more when they did. It's still the same all these Marvel AY over the years weren't planned out day one. If they do well you get more.

Price is more of a reflection of how many they expect to sell since the costs of these AY aren't that different unless they have something complicated going on (paints, soft goods). Saitama and Genos costs more but they price aren't higher because they are mains so they sell more than these guys. Garou has the easiest paint work he would be a lot cheaper but they don't expect him to sell as much as the main 2.

The Deep Sea King arc was one of my favorites. Before that, I was mildly enjoying OPM. And then the Mumen Rider "fight" happened and I was in tears.
I like Boros. I don't really care for Garou's design that is getting a figure, but he's a cool character and I would buy his monster form.
There are a few heroes I want like Flashy, Drive Knight, Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, and of course I want the Cyclist for Justice. And I have no doubt Tats and Sonic will get made. But if we only got one more villain, I'd want it to be Deep Sea King.

I'm trying to think of who I'd prefer, but in terms of prominence DSK might well deserve the slot. Like you said it felt like a pretty significant part of the story early on, and aside from main villains, no one's really had that impact, unless I'm forgetting someone. I wish they simplified the shoulders, the separate triangular pieces were so unnecessary. They bothered to make a new shoulder joint too (small, both ends are ball pegs) I think they could just have a solid upper arm piece all the way up to the shoulder. You can make it so it covers most of the joints. Catwoman did it fine.

My Sf girls came in today.

Chun Lee is ugly as fuck. I don't understand Capcoms hard on for making every female character uncanny freaks. Her head is TINY, like the same size as her calves... which are huge... like the should be, and her arms are insanely long. Fortunately her ass and hips are fucking humongous, even if they are cut up as hell for joints. Basically if her head and arms were better proportioned she'd be significantly better.

Juri on the other hand is pretty good. Qc problems like hell though. Her left shoulder butterfly was glued in place, and I thought I was about to go 2/3 on breaking a revo shoulder because the shoulder was so tight I couldn't twist it without tools. Her joint strength on whole is a bit random, the shoulder peg was practically frozen, but the shoulder ball is so loose it sags.

She has a ton more poseability than Chun Li does, her legs and arms are pretty unencumbered by her design, and her torso movement is pretty good, if not quite prone to falling apart.

Her head also oddly seems a bit more proportional, although it is still very small.

Colorado. This is not my first time with Uniuni. They're like the uber driver of delivery done by civilian. Unlike USPS/Fedex/UPS they cannot access your apartment complex during non business hours if you don't have a concierge. Just opened up Smasher and I believe the hype now. Will open up Manticora soon too. I remember that I thought Eliminator looked good but it didn't feel obvious on HLJ's listings that the captain head came with the base figure and wasn't actually exclusive to the 3-pack, and that was the reason I didn't buy it back then. These guys seem to have a lot of ideas, so maybe they wanted their first product to really be a showcase of the potential of their new line, and if that's the case redoing it to what it looks like now was essential. No shade on Cosmic Legions but that's basically what the figure looked like, and if that's the aesthetic they were going for that's fine, but based on the current one it looks like they wanted a more modern and aesthetic product.

Holy shit, this happened to mine, too. Didn’t even think about it being an issue that happened past my copy. Wonder how widespread it is.

Spent so much time and frustration trying to heat and pop the pieces apart to get a closer look at exactly what is happening. Decided to stop because I thought it was going to break with how much force it was taking. I feel like I loosened the upper torso joint in the process, which has unfortunately soured me a bit on the figure. That and a super tight ball joint on the upper right thigh that won’t loosen all that well, even after applying silicone oil.

I also got a bit obsessive to get it out, but I could tell from the lack of leverage I wasn't getting the top part of the torso off. After pulling out as much as I could with some tweezers (which may have been a mistake to start this way since it left so little material left) I just started gently cutting it out/up with a hobby knife. At this point it's almost entirely gone, and if it's scratched up then at least nothing is visible on the surface, just maybe some on the inside (I don't want to look down there ever again).

Does make you wonder how it happened. You'd think the figure's parts were fully put together before the plastic got near them, and that would be only introduced when the figure's were assembled.

Ignore idiots who says something is cancelled. It almost never happens with Kaiyodo. They can't afford to back down at certain stages unless you know, the whole line is done (Geo, AB, not them but Vulcanlog). And not when they invest 3 figures at once.

The announcement/develoment order is not the release order. When output was low in the past it was about the same but now with half a dozen or so sculptors carrying multiple projects at once the variance can be wide. The IPs also determines when they are allowed to show what. That's why you get some that pops out of nowhere.

Don't forget Garou took ages since announcement while everything announced along him were released, then some more were added, then we got a proto and PO. It's all very unpredictable.

Also keep in mind the digital face painting is the likely reason if there is a delay. Probably why all the SF6 AYs were delayed for about 6 months.

It is the obvious option since you can reuse most of the body for multiple characters. But I get they wanted to differentiate from everyone and do the Titans. If they through a reasonable bunch for Titans I can see them trying but probably not as AY anymore. So they won't be that different from Figma. I don't see a good reason to do the later looks for the additional costs and lesser demand.

But with early uniformed look they can do Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, and Annie with the same body for the most part, maybe adjust height with different shins. And do Reiner with fully new molds. Those will be the most they will go if they decide to go there.
