You already have to read item descriptions, books, etc anyway so does it really matter if every single piece of dialogue is voice acted?
If we lived in a perfect world where voice acting costs would not reduce the size and complexity of scripts, I would perhaps feel like it's more necessary, but that's not how things work irl.
If you want voice-acting, even in a big budget game like BG3, there will be smaller scripts, shorter dialogue, and whatnot. Which is a negative thing imo.
And if I have to choose between bad voice acting and none at all I'd take zero voice acting any day.
If you want to sell a lot of games I think having voice acting is essential, but if you care about making good games it's not needed and is frequently a hinderance.

So a while back I made this character in wotr, my first character, and I came back to it today after not playing the game for a long time
So as I understand it my class does not have a feat either at level 1 or 2
But I seem to have 1 feat, if not two, from being a human
That feat(s?) is coordinated manoeuvres and shake it off
My question is just if this is a decent perk to have on an inquisitor because I have no clue what I was thinking when I picked it

Only a few classes will actually get feats as part of their class. These are bonus feats, most notably base Fighter will get a bonus combat feat every even Fighter level after 1 (bonus feats at 1, 2, 4, 6, etc.). Being a combat feat means that their bonus feat can only select feats tagged as combat, basically wacky bat feats, not shit like skill focus.

Every character gets one feat every odd level (1, 3, 5, etc.) no matter what class is selected. These are character feats and you can select any feat so long as you meet its prerequisites.

In short, no, these are not good feats to have at level 1, most notably because they are both teamwork feats. Teamwork feats are a class of feat that require other party members to have the same feat, and meet the feat conditions, to work.

Coordinated Maneuvers is a trap pick, because combat maneuvers (trip, disarm, bull rush, etc.) require a combat maneuver to be learned first. Meaning your character needs the know Trip, for example, from a feat or class feature in order to make a combat maneuver check for it, to then benefit from anything that increases CMB (combat maneuver bonus). There's a whole nest of bullshit concerning combat maneuvers, so unless you can get a maneuver like Trip for free from a class feature (i.e. earth Kineticist) don't bother with combat maneuvers at all. Very high opportunity cost.

That boss can wreck even "meta" builds because you have basically no build at that point. How you win is by playing it correctly.
I personally charge abelard in and sprint argenta down the right hand stairs where she deals with the cultists. Idira just starts stacking exploits on the boss. Once all the cultists are dead we melt the boss.

Most people say that, but in reality, there's some benefit to be had by capping your strength at 16 rather than 20. If you can afford the lower stats and don't seriously need 2+ to be high, main stat 20 is fine allocation that will powerspike you generally a bit earlier throughout the game. 19 for maximum minmaxing tism.

If you want an honest answer the combat got repetitive fast, the level scaling for enemies was garbage, you have no reason to get invested in this world unless you played the previous Pillars games and even then the connection is superficial at best. The companions were trash except for maybe fish Garrus and the actual l "role playing" elements were non existent. That janky King Arthur game was a better Skyrim clone.
