Protect From Evil and Remove Fear are great just because they're so cheap and now you don't have to use spell slots. Protect From Evil notably also protects against domination from evil entities.
Protection From Evil Communal is more convenient of course, but it's also a set amount of time which is more an issue later, and the scroll will be pretty low level anyhow.
Make sure you pick up the Bag of Holding from the bar guy, and sell those weapons and armor you're not using. Probably also sell the Inflict Minor Wounds scrolls, pretty pointless unless you're Dhampir I guess.

But overall, investing in equipment is better, but something like a random Mirror Image of course won't hurt you if you've got a fair amount of cash and use it right before battle.

Replaying PoE 1 after beating it ages ago. Last time I had Aloth be a ranged disabler and debuffer and it worked great. This time I’d like to do something different, but I’m unsure of what. His might is kinda low, but is he a decent battlemage? There’s no multiclassing in PoE 1 but I’d like to try and use him differently.

Is it better to level her charisma or dex here?
It says that paladins get bonus spells based on their charisma and it does affect smite at least
But 1 ac seems good too even though it's not a "recommended" stat

Yeah this is typical. You don't get conversations in dungeons usually, so it saves them up till you leave. I've never had a combat conversation before so I guess it was just a glitch.

Protip: Charge them. They do melee when somebody is next to them.
That also makes half the archers less annoying(the other half shoot without provoking).

I did something similar in one of my playthroughs but I couldn't get over the voice and writing still being bog-witch tier, so I just went back to not using her at all and picking different characters.

That's not a bad portrait though, like in a vacuum maybe it should get run through AI to replace the body too for a wholly original character instead.

What is best here on a pure slayer?

Outflank seems good, but I cant take it yet since Seelah, at least as a pure paladin, cant take it

Owlcat did say they are not sure will both of the companions will be romancable on the devs stream.
So what I predict is the female companion will not be romancable, but the male companion will be. So we will get melties.

I would be totally fine with it not being a waifu if it's something fun and wacky like an ork or a necron. But I would prefer for it to not be another dogmatic human.
