Yeah I wouldn't pull on the Kawakami banner either. And yes, Ramonu powercreeps Finemo, but it's not like you wouldn't be using both of them. Just like how Tachyon is in some ways an upgrade from Kitasan, but if you have both you'll probably use both quite often. Good cards don't stop being good when better cards come out, they're just not the best anymore. Kitasan will probably be used until well after Pasa is released in April 2027, for example.

Feel good enough, this Bakushin is a filler that I need to refine with a kit I like and I'll be set.
I felt dirty having to make Kawakami a pace chaser, but 3 days of trying, I couldn't find a late surger build that would let her close the gap and even when she procced important skills, I saw her in third...once? Any other time, she was lucky to hit 4th or 5th and I tried 50 different lobbies between two days. Meanwhile, within 10 rooms of getting her a competent pace skillset, Kawakami got herself a win and I get to see her smile so I'm happy.
I'm going to lose some lobbies and probably finals to a late surger or end, and I'll accept it, I can't make it work for this track so either through luckshit or having a stronger build, good on them getting wins with it. Obligatory Biwa love <3

Thinking ahead to the next selector we get - I can either 3LB Creek + 2LB Fine Motion or 3LB Fine Motion and stick with 2LB Creek. 2->3LB for Creek is huge whereas 2->LB for Fine doesn't seem special. Main diff is FM is more usable than Creek (don't need stam for short distance). Also funny lining these 2 up like that; they essentially have the same stat line just a different facility.
